b) Genesis 19:23; 32:31; Numbers 2:3. Rises on the Earth.
c) Exodus 16:21. Grows hot every day.
d) Deuteronomy 4:19; 17:3; 2 Kings 23:11. Should not be worshipped.
e) 2 Samuel 23:3-4. One who rules justly is likened to it.
f) Job 30:28. Without it there is gloom.
g) Psalm 84:11. The Lord God is a sun.
h) Psalm 113:3; 148:3. Whilst the sun is risen, the Name of the Lord is to be Praised.
i) Psalm 136:8. Rules over the day.
j) Jeremiah 31:35. The Lord gives it.
k) Nahum 3:17. When the sun rises, the locusts flee away.
l) Malachi 4:2. The Lord is the Sun of Righteousness.
m) Matthew 13:6. Can scorch plants.
n) Matthew 24:29. One day it will be darkened.
o) Luke 21:25; Acts 2:20. Can give signs.
p) Acts 27:20. Maybe hidden in the storm.
q) James 1:11. Is a source of scorching heat.

Isaiah 49:3.
a) God recognizes and owns His Servants.
b) God has a purpose for His Servants.
c) Foremost, God's Servants should Glorify Him.
(Through this Second one I understand The Main Purpose Of God's Servants - to Glorify Him)
PRAYER: To fulfill the Main Purpose of God for our life, pray to Glorify Him.

The Lord God is a sun. This means that He shines! If we belong to Him, then our life will shine for His Glory before other people. The key to this shining is not human effort, the key is that we have a good personal relationship with Him. We should, as True Believers, reflect the Lord's Glory, His Light shining through us.
