'The Evil Woman.'
Revelation 17:4-6.
a) Revelation 17:4. She was wearing purple and red clothes.
b) Revelation 17:4. She was wearing:-
1-Gold.
2-Pearls.
3-Precious stones.
c) Revelation 17:4. These were worth much money.
d) Revelation 17:4. She had in her hand a gold cup.
e) Revelation 17:4. This cup was full of things from her sexual sins.
f) Revelation 17:5. There was a name written on her forehead.
g) Revelation 17:5. This name had a secret meaning:-
1-Mystery.
2-The Big and Powerful Babylon the Great.
3-Mother of all women who sell the use of their bodies.
4-Mother of everything sinful of the Earth.
h) Revelation 17:6. The woman was drunk with the blood of God's People.
i) Revelation 17:6. The woman was drunk with the blood of the martyrs for Jesus.
j) Revelation 17:6. When John saw the Evil Woman he wondered with great amazement.

a) To the Brothers who were in Laodicea.
b) To Nympha or Nymphas, the house Church leader.
c) To the Church that met in that house.

The evil woman had in her hand a golden cup. Her sins had made her extravagantly wealthy. The contents of the cup were evil. This woman had an awful name: "the mother of everything sinful of the Earth". When I read of this, it causes me to pray for the Nations. Any Nations, all Nations! May the Lord intervene in the Nations and may Salvation come to them.
