The Same Commandment!


'The Same Commandment.'
2 John 1:5.
a)  'Lady' here is the Church. John is again writing as a Spiritual father.
b)  Here John is asking strongly or pleading.
c)  Reminding them of the Commandment that they have had from the beginning.
d)  It is a simple Commandment.
e)  To Love one another.
f)  John included himself in this.
(This QT reminds me about The Same Commandment)

'Intercession In All Situations.'
1 Kings 13:6. 
a)  The king spoke to the Man of God. This was humility and desperation.
b)  The King asked the Man of God to entreat the favour of the Lord his God.
c)  The King asked the Man of God to pray for him so that his hand could be restored and healed.
d)  The Man of God entreated the Lord.
e)  The Man of God interceded with the Lord.
f)  The Man of God prayed to the Lord.
g)  The King's hand was healed and restored.
(This Second one teaches me about Intercession In All Situations)

The important Commandment, according to Father John, when he was writing to the Church was that there should be Love for one another in the Church. This is not just a fact of early Church history, it is still God's Word for the Church and Churches today. It is something that the Churches need to constantly be reminded of.
