Revelations!

‘Revelations.’
a) 2 Corinthians 12:1. Sometimes come from the Lord.
b) 2 Chronicles 24:27. Are sometimes given by God against something or someone.
c) Jeremiah 14:14. Sometimes people pretend to have had them when they have not had them.
d) Micah 3:6. God may take them away from the Church.
e) 2 Corinthians 12:7. God does not want us to become proud if we have them.
(This QT reveals to me that the Church needs to discern Revelations, if they really come from God or not)

‘Living The Life Of A True Believer.’
James 1:19-25.
a) James 1:19. We should be:-
1- Quick to hear.
2- Slow to speak.
3- Slow to anger.
b) James 1:20. People’s anger does not accomplish God’s Righteousness.
c) James 1:21. We are to put away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness.
d) James 1:21. We should humbly receive the implanted word which is able to save us.
e) James 1:22. We are to be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving ourselves.
f) James 1:23-24. If anyone:-
1- Is a hearer of the Word and not a doer of the Word.
2- They are like a person beholding their own face in a mirror.
3- They look at themselves and go away.
4- They forget what kind of person they are.
g) James 1:25. We:-
1- Should look intently into the perfect law of freedom.
2- Should continue and persevere in the perfect law of freedom.
3- Should not be forgetful hearers.
4- We should be doers that act and then we will be Blessed in our doing.
(Through this Second one I want to be Living The Life Of A True Believer)

Chris.
We need to pay attention to ourselves and then we will not deceive ourselves. There are many people in the Churches who deceive themselves in imagining that they are someone great because they have some kind of leadership position. These people are really deceiving themselves because Jesus said that leaders should be servants.
