‘Do Not Only Think It Say It.’
Daniel 1:8.
a) Daniel purposed in his heart. He made a decision.
b) He would not defile himself with the king’s rich food.
c) He would not defile himself by drinking the king’s wine.
d) He asked the king’s chief of staff that he could follow this decision.

‘We Should Be Instructed.’
a) Proverbs 1:3. We should receive the instruction of:-
1- Wisdom.
2- Justice.
3- Judgment.
4- Equity.
b) Psalm 32:8. The Lord’s Eyes watch over us to:-
1- Instruct us.
2- Teach us in the way that we should go.
3- Advise us.
c) Psalm 73:24. The Lord will Guide us with His Counsel.
(This Second one reminds me that until I pass on into Eternity I Should Be Instructed that I may also instruct other people)

We should be instructed. If we ever get into the delusion that we do not need to be instructed we are already in a sorry state. We are deceived and are facing many dangers. The safest place to be in is the place of one being well instructed.
