John 17:2.
a) As You have given Him authority over all flesh,
b) That He should give Eternal Life
c) To as many as You have given Him.
(This QT reminds me that Christ Has Authority Over All Flesh)

John 10:28.
a) I give them Eternal Life,
b) And they will never perish,
c) And no one
d) Will snatch them out of My Hand.
(Through this Second one I thank God for Secure And Eternal Life)

We should always remember and be humbled by the fact that the Eternal Life which Believers receive is simply and purely the Gift that comes from the Lord Jesus Christ. He stated that He takes the responsibility in giving us this Gift and that He is able to keep us for Eternity. I am so glad that He is the Author of our Salvation and not us ourselves.
