Knowing The Will Of God And Praying For It!

'Knowing The Will Of God And Praying For It.'

Hebrews 13:19.

a)  I particularly urge you to pray

b)  So that I may be

c)  Restored to you soon.

(Through this QT I can see the Wisdom in Knowing The Will of God And Praying For It)

PRAY: For God's Will to be done.

---------

'Be Urged.'

a)  Acts 27:22. To keep up your courage.

b)  Acts 27:34. To take some food when you need it.

c)  Romans 12:1. To offer your body as a living sacrifice to God.

d)  Romans 15:30. To pray,

e)  Romans 16:17. To stay away from Church trouble makers.

f)  Ephesians 4:1. To live a life worthy of the Calling which we have received.

(This Second one encourages me to Be Urged)

PRAY: To be willing to Be Urged,

---------

Chris.

Hyper-religious fasting never achieves anything! Unless we are clearly directed by the Lord to fast, or have a regular fasting practice, we should avoid fasting without reason. Fasting is supposed to change us and not to push and persuade God in some way.

Not Always Preaching Ministry!

'Not Always Preaching Ministry.'

John 3:22.

a)  After this

b)  Jesus and His Disciples went into the Judaean countryside,

c)  And He remained there with them

d)  And was baptizing

(This QT reminds me that Jesus' Ministry was Not Always Preaching Ministry)

PRAY: For our Church and Mission ministries to be led by the Holy Spirit.

--------

'Disciples Of Jesus.'

a)  Matthew 5:1: 8:25. Came to Him.

b)  Matthew 9:10. Welcomed sinners to their feast.

c)  Matthew 12:1. Went through the grain fields with Him on the Sabbath.

d)  Matthew 13:36; 17:10. Wanted to understand His Teachings.

e)  Matthew 14:19; 15:36. Distributed food to the hungry people.

f)  Matthew 17:19. Wanted to know why they could not cast out demons.

g)  Matthew 26:18. Kept the Passover together with Him.

h)  Matthew 26:19. Obeyed Him.

i)  Matthew 26:26. Partook of the first Holy Communion.

j)  Matthew 26:40. Fell asleep when they should have remained awake.

k)  Matthew 26:56. Forsook Jesus and fled.

l)  Mark 6:41. Looked after the feast.

m)  Mark 6:45. Were sent off in the boat.

n)  Mark 8:4. Questioned Jesus' Command.

(This Second one reveals to me a part of the lives of The Disciples Of Jesus)

PRAY: To mke Holy Communion a regular part of our lives.

--------

Chris.

What a failure!! The Disciples forsook Jesus and fled. This Second one makes me realise that we cannot trust in our own ability or faith to stand firm in the Lord during difficult times. We need the Lord's Power, Wisdom and Grace to be able to stand. The Gospels are really Discipleship training manuals for us as we read Jesus' interactions with His Disciples there.

Prayer Changes Things!

'Prayer Changes Things.

Hebrews 13:19.

a)  I urge you

b)  The more earnestly

c)  To do this

d)  In order that I may be

e)  Restored to you the sooner.

(This QT reminds me that Prayer Changes Things)

PRAY: For things to be changed where necessary.

-------

'A Fruitful Continuing Ministry.'

Philippians 1:25.

a)  Convinced of this,

b)  I know that I will remain

c)  And continue with you all,

d)  For your progress

e)  And Joy in the Faith.

(Through this Second one I find A Fruitful Continuing Ministry)

PRAY: For Fruitful Continuing Ministries to be developed in the Churches.

-------

Chris.

This ministry of Apostle Paul in the Church at Philippi was not just a 'quick visit' ministry. Apostle Paul knew that he would remain with the Philippians and continue with them for their progress! Regardless of any environmental difficulties this Church was having, Apostle Paul committed himself to remaining with them.

Amen! Please Pray for Us

Amen! Please Pray For Us.
 Hebrews 13:18
a) Pray for us,
 b) For we are sure that we have a good conscience,
c) Desiring to conduct ourselves d) Honorably in all things.
(This QT causes me to echo the call: Pray For Us!)
PRAY: For the Servants of the Lord in your Church or Ministry environment
 ------
 'A Pathway To Generosity.'
2 Corinthians 8:10-11.
a) For God is the One Who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat.
 b) In the same way,
c) He will provide and increase your resources
d) And then produce a great harvest of generosity in you
e) Yes, you will be enriched in every way
f) So that you can always be generous.
g) And when we take your gifts to those who need them,
h) They will thank God.
(Through this Second one I find A Pathway To Generosity)
PRAY: To follow A Pathway To Generosity.
 ------
Chris.
It seems that the Hebrew Church were very religious people and yet they lacked some of the basic disciplines of the Faith! The writer to the Hebrews needed to exhort and encourage this Church to Pray. A healthy Church in these days will be a prayerful Church. There is no need to ask them to pray - we should be able to trust their prayers! The Prayer Meeting is one of the most necessary meetings of the Church, actually many people can be Blessed through the Prayers of the Prayer Meeting.

Living In The Truth!

 ‘Living By The Truth!’

John 3:21.

a) But whoever lives by the Truth

b) Comes into the Light,

c)  So that it may be seen plainly

d)  That what they have done

e)  Has been done in the sight of God.

(This QT teaches me about Living By The Truth)

PRAY: To live by the Truth.

—-

‘Moses Introduces Jesus Christ.’

Acts 3:22.

a)  For Moses said:

b)  “For the Lord God will raise up for you a Prophet

c)  “Like me from among your own people;

d)  “You must listen to everything He tells you”.

(In this Second one Moses Introduces Jesus Christ)

PRAY: To listen well to Jesus Christ.

—-

Chris.

This QT makes me think in amazement and wonder about our Lord Jesus Christ. It gives me the desire to read more about Him in the Word of God. The Scriptures are so complete! We need to turn to them if we want to know more about Him!

Obedience To Spiritual Leadership!

'Obedience To Spiritual Leadership.'

Hebrews 13:17.

a)  Obey your Spiritual Leaders,

b)  And do what they say.

c)  Their work is to watch over your souls,

d)  And they are accountable to God.

e)  Give them reason to do this with joy

f)  And not with sorrow.

g)  That would certainly not be for your benefit,

(This QT teaches me the importance of Obedience To Spiritual Leadership)

PRAY: For reliable Spiritual Leaders whom we can obey.

---------------

'A Challenge For Spiritual Leaders.'

Hebrews 13:7.

a)  Remember your Leaders who spoke the Word of God to you.

b)  Consider the outcome of their way of life

c)  And imitate their Faith.

(This QT presents A Challenge For Spiritual Leaders)

PRAY: For our Spiritual Leaders to speak the Word of God to us.

---------------

Chris.

We should be able to fondly remember our Spiritual Leaders. We should be able to positively learn from watching the lives of our Spiritual Leaders. Our Spiritual Leaders should be able to impart Faith to us! Spiritual Leaders need to be challenged by God, by fellow Spiritual Leaders, and by the people that they lead! Challenges make our Spiritual Leaders more excellent, especially as they learn to handle those challenges correctly.

The Sacrifice Of Praise!

 'The Sacrifice Of Praise.'

Hebrews 13:15.

a)  Because we are looking for a home that is yet to come,

b)  Let us offer, through Jesus,

c)  The Sacrifice of Praise to God,

d)  That is,

e)  The fruit of our lips,

f)  Giving Thanks to His Name.

(This QT calls me to offer The Sacrifice Of Praise to God)

PRAY: To offer an Acceptable Sacrifice Of Praise To God.

-------------

'Continually.

a)  Exodus 27:20; Leviticus 24:2 & 4. Keep the lamps burning.

b)  Joshua 1:8. Study God's Word.

c)  Joshua 6:9. Herald the coming of the Ark of the Lord.

d)  Psalm 42:3. Taunted by our enemies.

e)  Psalm 119:117. Meditating on the Lord's decrees.

f)  Psalm 128:5. May the Lord Bless you.

g)  Isaiah 58:11. The Lord will guide you.

h)  Isaiah 62:6. Pray.

(Through this Second one I want to continually be meditating on the Lord's decrees)

PRAY: Meditating on the Lord's Decrees.

--------------

Chris.

It is very beneficial for us to be meditating on the Lord's decrees as much as is practically possible. Living "in line" with God's Word is a secure way to live. When we meditate on the Lord's Decrees we can then begin to live in His revealed Will. Praying with the Scriptures really helps us to be living as the Lord wants us to live.

Those People Who Hate The Light!

'Those People Who Hate The Light.'

John 3:20.

a)  For everyone who does wicked things

b)  Hates the Light

c)  And does not come to the Light,

d)  Lest his works should be exposed.

(This QT teaches me about Those People Who Hate The Light)

PRAY: To resist doing wicked things.

------------------

'Expose The Darkness.'

Ephesians 5:11.

a)  take no part

b)  In the unfruitful works

c)  Of darkness,

d)  But instead

e)  Expose them.

(Through this Second One I know that it is correct to Expose The Darkness)

PRAY: For all darkness around you to be exposed.

-------------------

Chris.

Darkness is never fruitful! The works of darkness are unfruitful and we should not be ensnared by them or fascinated by them! If there is darkness in your Church, expose it! If there is darkness in your family, deal with it! The Bible tells us to expose the unfruitful works of darkness.

Sacrifices That Please God!

 'Sacrifices That Please God.'

Hebrews 13:16.

a)  And do not forget to do good

b)  And to share with others,

c)  For with such sacrifices

d)  God is pleased.

(This QT teaches me Sacrifices That Please God)

PRAY: To offer Sacrifices That Please God.

-----------------

'Caring For The Saints.'

Romans 12:13.

a)  Contribute

b)  To the needs of the saints

c)  And seek

d)  To show hospitality.

(Through this Second one I see that Caring For The Saints is important)

PRAY: To care well for the Saints.

-----------------

Chris.

Contributing has always been, since New Testament Days, a part of the normal life of the Church. It is a very good testimony if the Christian Church is seen to be a contributing Church! This kind of Mercy and Generosity experienced in and by the Church is an excellent testimony!

The Bereft Soul!

'The Bereft Soul.'

Psalm 35:12.

a)  They repay me

b)  Evil for good;

c)  My soul is bereft.

d)  Psalm 38:20. Those who render me evil for good

e)  Accuse me because I follow after good.

f)  Psalm 109:4. In return for my love they accuse me,

g)  But I give myself to Prayer.

(This QT reveals to me The Bereft Soul)

PRAY: For the Word of God to bring Healing and Comfort to your Bereft Soul.

---------------

'Are You Falling Or Bowed Down?'

Psalm 145:14.

a)  The Lord upholds

b)  All who are falling

c)  And raises up

d)  All who are bowed down.

(Through this Second one I ask the question: "Are You Falling Or Bowed Down)

PRAY: For those people who may be Falling Or Bowed Down.

---------------

Chris.

One of the Works of the Lord is that He upholds all those people who need to be held up and supported! There are many people in this World today who are "falling" in different ways. If these people would turn to the Lord, they will discover that, in His Mercy and Love, the Lord is able to uphold them. Falling and being bowed down are not pleasant experiences. Thank God that He is able to hold us and to lift us up!

This Is The Judgment!

'This Is The Judgment.'

John 3:19.

a)  And this is the Judgment:

b)  The Light has come into the World,

c)  And people loved the darkness

d)  Rather than the Light

e)  Because their works were evil.

(This QT explains to me that This Is The Judgment)

PRAY: To love the Light rather than darkness.

--------------

'Amazing Judgment.'

John 9:39.

a)  Jesus said:

b)  "For Judgment I came into this World,

c)  "That those who do not see may see,

d)  "And that those who see

e)  "May become blind."

(This Second one reveals to me Amazing Judgment)

PRAY: To be ready to face Amazing Judgment.

--------------

Chris.

We frequently use (or abuse) the phrase: "God is Judge!" The reality is, that in these days of the New Covenant, God leaves all Judgment to His Son, Jesus Christ. He said that one of the reasons that He came into this World was, and is, for Judgment. Christ enables the spiritually blind to see and He blinds the spiritually proud people. We should not forget, or neglect, the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ is Judge.

Through Jesus!

 'Through Jesus!'

Hebrews 13:15.

a)  Therefore,

b)  Let us offer through Jesus

c)  A continual sacrifice of Praise to God,

d)  Proclaiming our allegiance to His Name.

(This QT reminds me that it is Through Jesus!)

PRAY: Offering our sacrifice of Praise to God.

-------------

'Confess And Return.'

Hosea 14:2.

a)  Bring your confessions and return to the Lord.

b)  Say to Him:

c)  Take away all our iniquity and receive us graciously,

d)  That we my present the fruit of our lips.

(Through this Second one I am inspired to proclaim: "Confess And Return.")

PRAY: Confessing and returning to the Lord.

-------------

Chris.

If a True Believer is genuinely returning to the Lord, they will surely bring whatever confessions that they also desire bring to Him. This is essential! Firstly, confession of sin, secondly, confession of loyalty to Him, and thirdly confession of commitment to do His Will. A genuine return to the Lord means a real change of life and priorities.

Terrible Witnesses!

'Terrible Witnesses.'

Psalm 35:11.

a)  Malicious witnesses rise up;

b)  They ask me

c)  Of things that I do not know.

(This QT causes me to ask God to deliver me from Terrible Witnesses)

PRAY: To be freed from Terrible Witnesses.

------------

'I Have What I Need.'

Psalm 23:1.

a)  The Lord Is my Shepherd,

b)  I have

c)  What I need.

(Through this Second one I am reminded that I Have What I Need)

PRAY: Thanking the Lord that He meets our needs.

------------

Chris.

In Psalm 23 we can read the many ways in which we can benefit if we know that the Lord is our Shepherd! The understanding of Psalm 23 can and should positively affect our Prayer Life. We begin to pray like His Sheep and less like needy beggars! It would help us very much if we deliberately read through Psalm 23 daily for several weeks before we prayed.

Pray Simply And Clearly!

 'Pray Simply And Clearly!'

Matthew 6:7.

a)  And when you pray

b)  Do not keep on babbling like pagans,

c)  For they think that they will be heard

d)  Because of their many words.

(This QT encourages me to Pray Simply And Clearly)

PRAY: Simply and clearly.

-----------

'Good Ways To Be.'

Romans 12:12.

a)  Rejoice in Hope;

b)  Be patient in affliction;

c)  Be persistent in Prayer.

(Through this Second one I find Good Ways To Be)

PRAY: With persistence.

-----------

Chris.

Rejoicing, being Patient and being Persistent! Here are three things that every True Believer should aim for! Hope is the motivating power of Rejoicing! Without Hope it is extremely difficult to Rejoice. Living with some kind of affliction surely creates patience! If we allow our afflictions to "weigh us down", we will soon become impatient and crotchety people! Whatever we feel like, we really need to be persistent in prayer.

The City That Is To Come!

'The City That Is To Come!'

Hebrews 13:14.

a)  For we do not have an enduring city here,

b)  Instead,

c)  We seek the one to come.

(This QT reminds me of The City That Is To Come)

PRAY: To be ready for The City That Is To Come.

---------

'Run With Endurance.'

Hebrews 12:1.

a)  Therefore,

b)  Since we also

c)  Have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us,

d)  Let us lay aside every hindrance

e)  And the sin that so easily ensnares us.

f)  Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us.

(Through this Second one I want to Run With Endurance)

PRAY: For Grace, Faith and Endurance to run our race well.

---------

Chris.

One of the restraining and constraining facts about the Life of the True Believer is that they are surrounded by witnesses! Witnesses from Old Testament, from New Testament and from today's every day life! I thank God that one of the ways in which He looks after us is by surrounding us with witnesses.

When Bones Speak!

 'When Bones Speak.'

Psalm 35:10.

a)  All my bones shall say:

b)  "Oh Lord,

c)  "Who is like You,

d)  "Delivering the poor from him who is too strong for him,

e)  "The poor and needy

f)  "From him who robs him."

(This QT teaches me that When Bones Speak, their speech is relevant)

PRAY: For the robbing of the poor and needy to stop.

--------

'The Holy One Has No Equal.'

Isaiah 40:25.

a)  "To whom then will you liken Me?

b)  "Or shall I be equal?

c)  "Says the Holy One."

(This Second one reminds me that The Holy One Has No Equal!)

PRAY: For a Biblical understanding of The Holy One.

--------

Chris.

We can simply receive the Promises of God because He is Who He is! God has no equals. He is Unique and over all! When we understand these Truths about God, it makes it a lot easier for us to receive His Promises. There will always be things that we do not understand about God because God is God and He is not limited to our understanding. The Truth, however, remains, God is God!

The People With Faith!

'The People With Faith.'

Hebrews 10:39.

a)  But we are we are not of those

b) Who draw back and are destroyed,

c)  But those who have Faith and obtain Life.

(This QT calls me to continue to be a part of The People With Faith)

PRAY: Not to draw back but to have Faith.

-------

'Living In Obedience To God.'

Deuteronomy 4:2.

a)  You must not add anything to what I command you

b)  Or take anything away from it,

c)  So that you may keep the Commands of the Lord

d)  I am giving you.

(This Second one reminds me to be Living In Obedience To God)

PRAY: To have Faith and to live in Obedience To God.

-------

Chris.

Just simply obey God! When Leaders of Nations, Churches or Families start adding to what God says ... inevitably chaos is created! Simply obeying God is a good way of life, it produces a harvest of Righteousness in our lives. If the Leaders do not obey God, the people that they lead will struggle so much!

Let Us Go To Him!

'Let Us Go To Him,'

Hebrews 13:13.

a)  Therefore let us go to Him outside the camp

b)  And bear the reproach

c)  He endured.

(This QT reminds me of a real and sombre call ... Let Us Go To Him)

PRAY: For strength to obey the call ... Let Us Go To Him.

------

'Divine Reward Keeps Our Lives In Perspective.'

Hebrews 11:26.

a)  Considering the reproach of Christ

b)  Greater riches than the treasures of Egypt;

c)  For he was looking for the reward.

(This Second one reminds me that Divine Reward Keeps Our Lives In Perspective)

PRAY: To consider our lives in the Light of God's Word.

------

Chris.

Living the Life of Faith is something that we need to consider carefully every day. We need to question ourselves: "Is this the life of Faith, or is it just presumption?" We need to live in the Light of God's Word and have our lives open to it's scrutiny. Faith does not kill or destroy, it edifies. Living the Life of Faith obeys God and yet considers others!

Rejoicing And Delighting!

'Rejoicing And Delighting!'

Psalm 35:9.

a)  Then my soul

b)  Will rejoice in the Lord,

c)  Exulting in His Salvation. <I will delight in His Deliverance!>

(This QT calls me to be Rejoicing And Delighting)

PRAY: To be able to be Rejoicing And Delighting.

-----

'Pure Rejoicing!'

Luke 1:47.

a)  And my spirit

b)  Rejoices

c)  In God my Saviour.

(Through this Second one I want to learn more about Pure Rejoicing)

PRAY: To exercise more Pure Rejoicing.

-----

Chris.

Pure Rejoicing is actually good for us! Luke, the Apostle/Disciple of Jesus Christ, was also a doctor - a physician! He probably had a greater understanding of people and their problems than most of the other original Disciples. Luke knew what was good, he knew what was helpful and healing for people. Let us follow his example and rejoice in God our Saviour.

The Rephidim Problem!

'The Rephidim Problem.'

 Exodus 17:1.

a)  All the congregation of the People of Israel

b)  Moved on from the Wilderness of Sin by stages,

c)  According to the Commandment of the Lord,

d)  And camped at Rephidim,

e)  But there was no water for the people to drink.

(This QT reveals to me The Rephidim Problem)

PRAY: For there always to be enough water, both spiritually and physically where you live.

----

'Amazing Power.'

John 10:18.

a)  "No one takes My Life from Me,

b)  "But I lay it down of Myself.

c)  "I have power to lay it down,

d)  "And I have power to take it up again.

e)  "This Command I have received from My Father."

(Through this Second One I see Amazing Power)

PRAY: To be filled with God's Amazing Power - the Holy Spirit.

----

Chris.

We need to remember, most importantly, that the Lord Jesus Christ laid down His Life for us. He Himself said that He had the Authority and Power to lay down His Life. God gave Himself for us, through the Lord Jesus Christ - His Son - going to the Cross of Calvary. It was this same Authority and Power that the Resurrection of Christ took place. The Amazing Power of God is available to us today through the Holy Spirit.

Sanctified Through Christ's Blood!

'Sanctified Through Christ's Blood!'

Hebrews 13:12.

a)  So Jesus also suffered

b)  Outside the gate

c)  In order to sanctify the people

d)  Through His Own Blood.

(This QT makes me grateful that I am Sanctified Through Christ's Blood)

PRAY: For our Churches to fully understand what it means to be Sanctified Through Christ's Blood.

---

'Once For All Time And People.'

Hebrews 9:12.

a)  He entered once for all,

b)  Not by means of the blood of goats and calves

c)  But by means of His Own Blood,

d)  Thus securing an Eternal Redemption.

(This Second one gives me great trust in God, Once For All Time And People)

PRAY: Trusting God's Gift of Eternal Salvation.

---

Chris.

The phrase "once for all", as I read it, really encourages my faith. Firstly, I see it as once for all time. Secondly, I see it as once for all people. Eternal Salvation is secured for us by one Compassionate Act of God. We can have confidence and assurance in and of Eternal Life all because of what Jesus Christ has achieved for us on the Cross. Even in the deep winter periods, just like the picture shows, we can still trust God!

God Gives The Victory!

'God Gives The Victory.'

 Psalm 35:8.

a)  Let destruction come upon him

b)  When he does not know it!

c)  And let the net that he hid ensnare him;

d)  Let him fall into it -

e)  To his destruction.

(This QT reminds me that God Gives The Victory)

PRAY: For God to give us the Victory wherever we need it.

----------------------------

'Please Be Ready For The Lord To Come Again.'

1 Thessalonians 5:3.

a)  While people are saying:

b)  "There is Peace and Security."

c)  Then sudden destruction will come upon them

d)  As labour pains come upon a pregnant woman,

e)  And they will not escape.

(Through this Second one we are urged: Please Be Ready For The Lord To Come Again)

PRAY: To be ready for the Lord's Coming Again.

------------------------------

Chris.

We should never be lulled into a sense of false "peace" and "security". We should be alert, ready for the Lord's Second Coming, and we should urge other Believers to be alert also. The Message to the unbeliever remains the same, to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. The Church needs to have two Messages; one for the Believer and one for the unbeliever.

Cure And Healing For Sick Church People!

'Cure And Healing For Sick Church People.'

James 5:14.

a)  Is anyone among you sick?

b)  Let him call for the Elders of the Church,

c)  And let them pray over him,

d)  Anointing him with oil in the Name of the Lord.

(This QT teaches me about Cure And Healing For Sick Church People)

PRAY: For sick people in your Church.

------------------------

'Wonderful Evangelism.'

Mark 6:13.

a)  And they cast out many demons

b)  And anointed with oil many who were sick

c)  And healed them.

(Through this Second one I long to see and participate in Wonderful Evangelism again)

PRAY: For the establishment of Wonderful Evangelism in the Churches again)

-------------------------

Chris.

I really enjoy reading through Mark's Gospel! It is both simple and profound. Jesus' style of evangelism was indeed wonderful. He preached the Gospel and He cast out demons, He healed the sick and He taught the multitude. He obviously did all that He did for the Glory of the Father. We should consider following the example set for us by Jesus Christ. Just like the picture - Jesus Christ is the Light of the World!

Burned Outside The Camp!

'Burned Outside The Camp.'

Hebrews 13:11.

a)  For the bodies of those animals

b)  Whose blood is brought into the Holy Places

c)  By the High Priest

d)  As a sacrifice for sin

e)  Are burned outside the camp.

(This QT makes me realise that the bodies of those animals were Burned Outside The Camp)

PRAY: To esteem the shed Blood of Jesus Christ.

------------------

'A Procedure For Sick Church Members.'

James 5:14.

a)  Is anyone among you sick?

b)  Let him call for the elders of the Church,

c)  And let them pray over him,

d)  Anointing him with oil in the Name of the Lord.

(This Second on reveals A Procedure For Sick Church Members)

PRAY: For those whom you may know who are sick in your Church.

------------------

Chris.

It is a normal fact and not some kind of curse, that there will be sick people in a Church. These people should be able to feel free and welcome enough to ask the Church Leaders to pray for them. THIS IS NORMAL CHRISTIAN PRACTICE! There need not be any public "show" made of prayer for the sick, the Church Leaders simply need to get on with it. Some Churches may benefit from a house of healing, as in the picture, where sick people can receive necessary ministry in a quiet and calm environment.

Without Cause!

'Without Cause.'

Psalm 35:6-7.

a)  Let their way be dark and slippery,

b)  With the Angel of the Lord pursuing them!

c)  For without cause

d)  They hid their net for me,

e)  Without cause

f)  They dig a pit for my life.

(This QT explains the actions of our enemies Without Cause)

PRAY: For our enemies' ways to be dark and slippery.

----------------------

'Evil Opposition.'

Acts 9:1-2.

a)  But Saul,

b)  Still breathing threats and slander against the Disciples of the Lord,

c)  Went to the High Priest:

d)  And asked him for letters to the synagogue at Damascus

e)  That if he found some men or women of this Way,

f)  He would bring them prisoner to Jerusalem.

(Through this Second one I find religious Evil Opposition)

PRAY: To overcome all Evil Opposition.

-----------------------

Chris.

People with malice and revenge in their hearts go to the wrong authority figures to complain about other people. This is partially what this QT is all about. There are too many religious people, who justify their actions, that make life difficult for others. Without cause, these people can create so much misunderstanding, stress and needless pain for others. Advice: Keep away from "spiritual leadership" that you are not directly related to through your Church.

Moses Promise Was Kept!

 'Moses Promise Was Kept.'

Judges 1:20.

a)  As Moses had promised,

b)  Hebron was given to Caleb

c)  Who drove out from it

d)  The three sons of Anak.

(This QT reveals to me that Moses Promise Was Kept)

PRAY: For God to help us to keep our promises.

---------------------

'Follow The Lord Wholeheartedly.'

Joshua 14:9.

a)  So on that day

b)  Moses swore to me:

c)  "The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance

d)  "And that of your children forever,

e)  "Because you have followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.

(Through this Second one I want to Follow The Lord Wholeheartedly)

PRAY: For the Grace of God to help us to Follow The Lord Wholeheartedly.

----------------------

Chris.

This is a very lovely Promise that we do not often consider: The result of Following The Lord Wholeheartedly. God really encourages His People to follow Him, especially in these days when there can be so many distractions. When parents show an example of following the Lord to their children, this will always produce good results! Parents shepherding their children.

Our Unique Altar!

 'Our Unique Altar.'

Hebrews 13:10.

a)  We have an altar

b)  From those who serve the tabernacle

c)  Have no right to eat.

(This QT reveals to me Our Unique Altar)

PRAYER: To serve God well.

-------------------

'Truly Giving Thanks To God.'

Revelation 11:17.

a)  Saying,

b)  "We give You thanks,

c)  "O Lord God Almighty,

d)  "The One Who is and was and Who is to come,

e)  "Because you have taken your great power and reigned,"

(This Second one what is Truly Giving Thanks To God)

PRAY: Giving Thanks to God.

--------------------

Chris.

When a Church, or a group of Christians really give thanks to God together it is something that is both lovely and powerful. Giving thanks to God should flow from the heart of the True Believer. Even there may be many challenges or difficulties in life, we can always find that there are things to thank God for. I am sure that grateful hearts are pleasing to our Heavenly Father!

Let God Deal With Our Enemies!

'Let God Deal With Our Enemies.'

Psalm 35:5.

a)  Let them be like chaff before the wind,

b)  With the Angel of the Lord

c)  Driving them away.

(This QT reminds us: Let God Deal With Our Enemies!)

PRAY: Trusting God to protect our lives.

----------------

'Focus On The Prayer And Not The Oil.'

James 5:14-15.

a)  Is anyone among you sick?

b)  Let them call for the Elders of the Church to pray over them

c)  And anoint them with oil in the Name of the Lord.

d)  And the prayer offered in Faith will make the sick person well;

e)  The Lord will raise them up.

f)  If they have sinned,

g)  They will be forgiven.

(This Second one calls me to focus on the Prayer and not the oil.)

PRAY: For Biblical Elders to offer Biblical Prayers for the sick people in our Churches.

----------------

Chris.

The Prayer offered in Faith is indeed a powerful Prayer. It is this kind of Prayer that brings God's Healing Power into the Body of Christ. The Elders of the Church should always be ready to pray this kind of Prayer for the sick people of the Church. This may sometimes entail hospital or home visitation but this is no problem, Jesus Christ our Lord did the same thing, He went to the people where they were! We need to go to the people where they are. This is one of the reasons that Missionaries fly to different parts of the World.

a)  The Lord was with Judah

b)  And enabled them to take possession of the hill country.

c)  But they could not drive out the people

d)  Who were living in the valley,

e)  Because those people had iron chariots.

(This QT shows me that They Faced A Big Challenge)

PRAY: To overcome, with God's Help, the big challenges that we may face.

--------------

'Lord, Save Me!'

Matthew 14:30-31.

a)  When Peter saw the wind,

b)  He was afraid,

c)  And beginning to sink he cried out:

d)  "Lord, save me!"

e)  Jesus immediately reached out His Hand and took him,

f)  Saying to him:

j)  "O you of little faith, why did you doubt."

(Through this Second one I can see how Jesus Christ understands our weaknesses: Lord, Save Me!)

PRAY: That, when we encounter difficult circumstances, we will turn to the Lord Jesus Christ.

--------------

Chris.

"Lord, save me!" This was a desperate and humble cry! Sometimes, we have an "I'll be ok" attitude in life when, in actual fact, we are not ok! There are times when we are too proud to turn to God, or we are simply trusting in our own strength and mind! I am sure that when we cry out to God, that He hears our prayers and He will answer them in His Own way.

The Christian Life!

'The Christian Life.' a)  Deuteronomy 7:11. Keep the Word of  God. b)  Deuteronomy  7:12. Listen to the Word of God. c)  Deuteronomy...
