a) A horse is a vain hope
b) For deliverance;
c) Despite all its great strength
d) It cannot save.
(This QT reminds me that a horse cannot save)

We often need to be reminded that only the Lord can save us. The Psalmist here was considering the horse, a mighty and powerful animal. The horse has great strength! The horse, however, was a vain hope for deliverance and continues to be so until today.
