a demonised and sick child.

He cried out to Jesus that he Believed.

his unbelief.

What God says that He is going to do – He does. One thing is most
important here, it is what God says and not what we say that God says!
Sometimes we personalise the Promises of God when He has not given us license
to do that. Then if Prayer is unanswered we blame God. Remember What God says
that He is going to do – He does.
