The Glorious Living Jesus!

‘The Glorious Living Jesus!’
Hebrews 1:1-3.
a)        Hebrews 1:1. Long ago, in many ways, God spoke to the Jewish fathers by the Prophets.
b)       Hebrews 1:2-3. In these days God speaks to us by His Son:-
1-       He is appointed by God as the Heir of all things.
2-       Through Him God Created the World.
3-       Who is the Radiance of the Glory of God.
4-       He is the exact imprint of God’s Nature.
5-       He upholds the Universe by the Word of His Power.
c)        Hebrews 1:3. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the Right Hand of the Majesty on High.
(This QT shows me The Glorious Living Jesus)
-----------
‘When The Disciples Went Out.’
Luke 9:6.
a)        They went about through villages and towns.
b)       They Preached the Gospel.
c)        Everywhere they went they Healed people.
(In this Second one I can read what happened When The Disciples Went Out)
-----------
Chris.
Jesus Christ is the radiance of the Glory of God. The Bible speaks about radiance in the Greek as extreme brightness. Dictionary definitions are similar. Within radiance there is perfect reflection. Yes, we can be sure that Jesus Christ is the radiance of the Glory of God. We need to Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the World.

Pure Prayer Requests!

‘Pure Prayer Requests.’

a)        Are not selfish. (Pray for us)
b)       Come from a pure conscience.
c)        Come from one whose actions are honourable in all things.
d)       Are sometimes urgent.
e)        Come from a desire for Fellowship.
(This QT reveals to me Pure Prayer Requests)
----------

1.       Teaching in their synagogues.
2.       Preaching the glad tidings of the Kingdom.
3.       Healing every disease.
4.       Healing every bodily weakness.
g)       Matthew 12:1. Through the grain fields on the Sabbath.
h)       Matthew 13:1. Out of the house and sat by the sea.
i)         Matthew 26:36. With His Disciples to a place called Gethsemane.
j)         Mark 8:27. With His Disciples to a village called Caesarea Philippi.
k)       John 2:13; 5:1. Up to Jerusalem.
(Through this Second one I can see the purposeful Life of Jesus Christ)
----------
Chris.
Jesus went all round the cities and villages both Teaching and Healing people. He showed His Healing Power in many ways. One of those ways was healing every bodily weakness. I believe in this dispensation that Jesus still heals people because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Healing, however, by Jesus Christ comes from His Will and not ours. We cannot make Him heal anyone.

(This QT is very clear: They Are No More)
---------
‘Wonderful Jesus.’

c)        Jesus showed His Glory.

(Through this Second one I can see Wonderful Jesus)
---------
Chris.
When I watch the TV news I can often see disastrous scenes of war and suffering. I can see people groups, towns and villages being wiped out. There is much cruelty from human being to human being. The Old Testament in the Bible tells us of some people ‘being no more’. Jesus spoke about the last times. In those times there would be wars and rumours of wars.

(In this QT I find Jesus Christ Revealed)
--------
‘A Good Remedy For My Emotions.’
Hebrews 12:3.
a)  We are to think and consider about Jesus Christ.
b)  Jesus Christ endured such opposition from sinners against Himself.
c)  Then we will not:-
1- Grow weary.
2- Be fainthearted.
3- Be discouraged.
4- Give up.
(Through this Second one I find A Good Remedy For My Emotions)
--------
Chris.

There are times when nearly all True Believers have some experience that makes us emotionally difficult. I am not writing about a medical condition, just a difficult time, in several Scriptures God gives to us good remedies for our emotions.

Good Spiritual Leaders!

‘Good Spiritual Leaders.’
(This is not restricted to ordained Pastors. It includes all expressions of Spiritual Leadership in the Church)
Hebrews 13:17.
a)  Should be obeyed and submitted to.
b)  Should be recognised for their authority in the Church.
c)  Keep watch over our souls.
d)  Guard our spiritual welfare.
e)  They have to give an account to the Lord of their Ministry.

g)  Groaning Leaders are of no advantage or profit to us.
(This QT causes me to Pray for Good Spiritual Leaders in the Churches of the City where I live now)
---------
‘Beware Of Malicious Witnesses.’
Psalm 35:11.
a)  They are malicious witnesses.
b)  They are unrighteous witnesses.
c)  They ask us questions that it is not possible for us to answer.
(This Second one causes me to Beware Of Malicious Witnesses)
---------
Chris.
Ministry is serving. A Minister is a Servant. The Minister is very secure before the Lord if they serve well. The Minister may have a Leadership responsibility in the Church, it makes no difference, the Minister is still a Servant.

(This Second one shows me The Astonishment Of The People At The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ)
----------
Chris
True Believers in those early days of the Church were persecuted, so they scattered. This pattern has continued right until today. When Communism was instituted in China the True Believers were scattered. Korean True Believers travelled all over the World because of war and persecution. Many of these scattered True Believers became like missionaries, witnesses for Christ.

The First Message To Deliver!

‘The First Message To Deliver.’
1 Corinthians 15:3.
a)  This Message is most important.

---------

a)  Consider Him Who endured from sinners.
b)  Such hostility against Himself.
c)  So that we do not grow weary or faint hearted.
(This Second one reminds me that I should Consider Him)
---------
Chris.
The Message of the Pastor or Bible Teacher should always be according to the Scriptures. The Pastor or Bible Teacher should never give a “message” that is simply his or her own opinion. The Message should be revelatory, Biblical and anointed by the Holy Spirit.

Sacrifices That Please God!

‘Sacrifices That Please God.’
Hebrews 13:15-16.
a)  Through Jesus let us continually offer up a Sacrifice of Praise to God.
b)  That is the fruit of our lips acknowledging His Name.

e)  Such Sacrifices are pleasing to God.
(This QT Teaches me the Sacrifices That Please God)

2- Unrighteous person forsake their thoughts.
3- People return to the Lord because He may have Compassion on them.
4- People return to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
c)  Isaiah 55:8. The Lord’s thoughts are different from our human thoughts and God’s Ways are not the same as our ways.
d)  Isaiah 55:9. The Heavens are higher than the Earth. God’s Ways are higher than the ways of wicked and unrighteous people. God’s Thoughts are higher than the thoughts of wicked and unrighteous people.
(This Second one gives Counsel For Wicked And Unrighteous People)
--------
Chris.

We need to think about and prioritise upon the Sacrifices that are pleasing to God. The Life of a True Believer should be a life of Joyful Sacrifice. The Sacrifice of Praise to God, the Sacrifice of doing good things for people and the Sacrifice of sharing what we have.

d)  He destroys strongholds.
(This QT tells me about The Lord’s Judgements Of Nations)
------
‘Victorious Life In Christ.’
2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
a)  The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh.
b)  They have Divine Power to destroy strongholds.
c)  With them we destroy arguments.
d)  With them we destroy every lofty opinion raised against the Knowledge of God.
e)  We take every thought captive to obey Christ.
This Second one teaches me about Victorious Life In Christ)
------
Chris.
There is no doubt from the Scriptures that the Lord Judges the Nations. This is something that has been obvious in Bible History from the Babel incident until now. Even prophesied in the future is the judgment of the Nations. Intercessors for the Nations are necessary.
