‘To Be Lights In This World.’
Matthew 5:14-16.
a) Matthew 5:14. We are the Light of the World.
b) Matthew 5:14. A city situated on the top of a
mountain cannot be hidden.
c) Matthew 5:15. We do not light a lamp and then
hide it away.
d) Matthew 5:15. We put a lamp on a lamp stand.
e) Matthew 5:15. Then the lamp can shine for
everybody in the house.
f) Matthew 5:16. We are to let our Light shine
before people.
g) Matthew 5:16. People should be able to see our
upright works done with pure motivation.
h) Matthew 5:16. Then people will Glorify our Father
Who is in Heaven.

‘Purification Of The Church.’
1 Corinthians 5:7.
a) Unrepentant wicked
people who live in deliberate sin are a mockery in the Church and need to be
removed from the Church.
b) Then there can be a fresh move of the Holy
Spirit in the Church.
c) This is how the Church should be.
d) Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed
for us.

A city situated on
the top of a mountain cannot be hidden. This is how every local Church should
be, however large or small the Church is. The Light of the Lord is to shine
through the Church. The Church needs to be a place where both the Love of God
and the Fear of God are experienced.
