Hospitality!

‘Hospitality.’
1 Peter 4:9.
a)      Means being open, even with our homes.
b)       Should be given without complaining if it is our gift and choice to give it.
c)       Is not a one way thing – it is to one another.
(This QT affirms to me the Spirituality of Hospitality)
------------
‘Balaam’s Prophecy.’
Numbers 24:17.
a)      Spiritually Balaam saw and beheld the Coming of the Lord.
b)       He saw:-
1-       Someone Who will come.
2-       He saw a Star.
3-       He saw a Ruler.
c)       He saw the Victories of the Lord.
(This Second one reminds me of Balaam’s Prophecy)
------------
Chris.
Hospitality, in its full Biblical meaning, is Spiritual. I have been given hospitality so many times – both long and short term by many lovely people. When we are given Hospitality by other Brothers and Sisters in Christ we can and should sense the Love of God. There are some people who have the Gift of Hospitality others just give it, whichever it is, Hospitality is a beautiful Spiritual Gift.

Then The Lord Will Arise!

‘Then The Lord Will Arise.’
Isaiah 33:7-10.
a)     Isaiah 33:7. Heroes are crying out in the street and messengers of peace weep bitterly.
b)      Isaiah 33:8. The highways lay waste and the traveller ceases.
c)      Isaiah 33:8. Covenants are rejected.
d)     Isaiah 33:8. Cities are despised.
e)      Isaiah 33:8. There is no regard for men.
f)       Isaiah 33:9. The Land:-
1-      Mourns.
2-      Languishes.
3-      Is confounded.
4-      Withers away.
5-      Is like a desert.
6-      Shakes off its leaves.
g)      Isaiah 33:10. Then the Lord will:-
1-      Arise.
2-      Lift Himself up.
3-      Be exalted.
(In this QT: Then The Lord Will Arise, I see God’s timing is perfect in all ways)
-----------
‘A Good Way For A King.’
Esther 1:13.
a)     He spoke to wise people.
b)      People who knew and were acquainted with current times and situations.
c)      The King habitually did this.
(This Second one reveals to me A Good Way For A King)
-----------
Chris.
The King spoke to wise people. This is always the best way. Whatever the title of our National Leader is, that Leader needs to be communicating with wise people. Wise people will make a wise King make wise decisions. The Bible exhorts True Believers to pray for their National Governments.

Faithfulness To God Is Important!

‘Faithfulness To God Is Important.’
Psalm 78:8.
a)     Unfaithfulness is not something to be copied from generation to generation.
b)      Sometimes former generations were stubborn and rebellious.
c)      They were a generation that did not make ready their hearts for God.
d)     Their spirit was not faithful to God.
(Through this QT I see that Faithfulness To God Is Important)
----------
‘They Could Not Do It.’
Daniel 4:7.
a)     King Nebuchadnezzar told about his dream because he wanted the interpretation of it.
b)      Those people who were supposed to answer it could not:-
1-      The magicians.
2-      The conjurors.
3-      The astrologers.
4-      The diviners.
5-      The enchanters.
c)      They could not make known or interpret Nebuchadnezzar’s dream.
(This Second one teaches me about false powers: They Could Not Do It)
----------
People involved in occult practises often use words and titles that are very close to Biblical or Christian ones. This is why we need to instruct New Believers well in respect of what is correct and incorrect spiritually as well as morally and in Christian behaviour.

The Comfort And Power Of Love!

‘The Comfort And Power Of Love.’
1 Peter 4:8.
a)     This is most important of all of Peter’s instructions.
b)      We should love one another deeply and keep our love constant.
c)      Love covers and also makes us want to forgive many sins.
(This QT shows to me The Comfort And Power Of Love)
 --------
‘They Could Not Answer The King.’
Daniel 2:2.
a)     King Nebuchadnezzar had dreams which troubled him.
b)      To interpret his dreams Nebuchadnezzar called his:-
1-      Conjurers.
2-      Sorcerers.
3-      Astrologers.
4-      Wise men that used magic.
c)      The king at first wanted these men to tell him his dreams.
d)     They came in and stood before the king and could say and do nothing.
(This Second one teaches me about the dark powers in the World system: They Could Not Answer The King)
--------
Chris.

King Nebuchadnezzar had dreams that troubled him. If we are True Believers and have dreams that trouble us and we don’t understand them, the mere fact that they trouble us should cause us to Pray and spiritually, also emotionally cut ourselves off from those kinds of dreams.  If non-believing friends are having troubling dreams then we may need the Holy Spirit Gift of Spiritual Discernment to help them.

The Magnified And Exalted Lord!

‘The Magnified And Exalted Lord.’
Isaiah 33:5-6.
a)     The Lord is Exalted and Magnified.
b)      The Lord dwells on High.
c)      The Lord fills Zion with Justice and Righteousness.
d)     The Lord is the Security of our times.
e)      With the Lord there is an abundance of:-
1-      Salvation.
2-      Wisdom.
3-      Kmnowledge.
f)       He Treasures those people who Fear Him.
(This QT reveals to me The Magnified And Exalted Lord)
-------
‘Daniel’s Testimony.’
Daniel 5:11.
a)     He had the Spirit of God in him.
b)      He had:-
1-      Enlightenment.
2-      Insight.
3-      Wisdom.
c)      He had Spiritual and Political Authority in the Kingdom of Babylon.
(This Second one is simply Daniel’s Testimony in a heathen land)
-------
Chris.

The Gift of Enlightenment is really something that is still very necessary in these days. Teachers and Preachers of God’s Word need this Gift so much as they feed the Flock of God. Pastors need this Gift so they can know how most effectively to serve the people they Shepherd, whether individually or as an Assembly.

The Great Commission From Jesus Christ!

‘The Great Commission From Jesus Christ.’
Matthew 28:18-20.
a)  Matthew 28:18. Jesus initiated this Commission. He came to the Disciples. He spoke about His Power and Authority in Heaven and on Earth.

1- Father.
2- Son.
3- Holy Spirit.
c)  Matthew 28:20. The Disciples were to Teach what Christ had taught them and He would be with them as they carried out this Commission.
(This QT teaches me The Great Commission From Jesus Christ)
------
‘God’s Hand Upon Daniel.’
Daniel 2:48.
a)  The King promoted Daniel.
b)  The King gave to Daniel many great gifts.
c)  The King made Daniel Ruler over the Province of Babylon.
d)  The King made Daniel the Chief of all the wise men of Babylon.
(This Second one shows me God’s Hand Upon Daniel)
------
Chris.
The Disciples were to Teach what Christ had taught them. This was a simple and logical instruction that He gave to them. In this way more Disciples could be made. There has never been any other way revealed of ‘Disciple Making’. If the Church reverted to this basic instruction from her Head it would be a far healthier Body than it is today.

The End Of All Things!

‘The End Of All Things.’
1 Peter 4:7.
a)  The End of all things draws near.
b)  Everything will soon come to an end.
c)  Because of this we are to be:-
1- Self-controlled.
2- Sensible enough to Pray.
3- Sober minded for Prayers.
4- Serious.
(This QT reminds me about The End Of All Things)
-----
‘The Amazing And Perfect Will Of God.’
Luke 2:6.
a)  According to Bible Prophecy Joseph and Mary were in Bethlehem to pay taxes.
b)  It happened while they were there.
c)  The Time came for Mary to give birth. (Also according to Bible Prophecies)
(Through this Second one I am in awe of The Amazing And Perfect Will Of God)
-----
Chris.
True Believers are to be happy people and life givers but we also need to be serious about the things that it is necessary to be serious about. Frequently we read that in the Early New Testament Church there was much suffering and difficulty but the True Believers were Happy despite that.

(Through this QT I understand more how God uses Locusts)
----
‘Boaz’
a)  Matthew 1:5. Was a forefather of Jesus Christ.
b)  Ruth 2:1. Was a rich man.
c)  Ruth 2:3. Owned fields.
d)  Ruth 2:11 & 14. Was compassionate.
e)  Ruth 3:2. Was industrious.
f)  Ruth 4:1. Was a man of Governmental Authority.
g)  Ruth 4:13. Married Ruth.
(This Second one: Boaz, causes me to Pray for unmarried women of God who desire marriage could marry men like Boaz)
----
Chris.
Locusts have no king. They are always well ordered and disciplined. They can do immense damage in a short time. Only God can restore the years that they eat away. If we know people or families that seem to be being attacked by locusts we certainly need to be Praying for them.

A Blessing Prayer!

‘A Blessing Prayer.’

a)  Apostle Paul and his team continuously prayed for the Church at Colosse.

d)  That they would please the Lord in all respects.
e)  That they would bear fruit in every good deed.
f)  That they would increase in the Knowledge of God.
(Through this QT I find A Blessing Prayer)
--------
‘King Herod’s Troubled Heart.’
Matthew 2:4.
a)  Jesus was already born.
b)  The wise men from the East came to Jerusalem.
c)  King Herod heard that they were looking for the One Who was to be born King of the Jews.
d)  King Herod called together all of the Chief Priests and Scribes of the people.
e)  Because his heart was troubled He was desperate to find the new born King of the Jews.
(This Second one shows me King Herod’s Troubled Heart)
--------
Chris.

It is my desire to please the Lord in all respects. I know that sometimes I fail and that makes me miserable. I know that God’s Love and Grace is greater and I trust His Love and Grace. I know that His Word is True and I believe His Word. It is my desire to please the Lord in all respects.

'The Lord's Good Plan.'

'The Lord's Good Plans.' a) Proverbs 19:21. Will stand. b) Psalm 33:11. Are forever and for all generations. c) Isaiah 5...
