'They Could Not Endure The Order!'
Hebrews 12:20.
a) For they could not endure the order that was given,
b) "If even a beast touches the mountain,
c) "It shall be stoned."
(This QT teaches me that They Could Not Endure The Order)
PRAY: For a heart to obey God.

'Limits Are For Our Good.'
Exodus 19:12.
a) And you shall set limits for the people all around,
b) Saying,
c) "Take care not to go up into the mountain
d) "Or touch the edge of it.
e) "Whoever touches the mountain will be put to death."
(Through this Second one I know that Limits Are For Our Good)
PRAY: To observe, and not to break, any limits given to us.

When we read the Book of Exodus, we can read of the protective freedom that God gave to His Old Testament people. Now, in the days of the New Testament, God still gives protective freedom to His People. What we are to do is to simply live within the boundaries of that freedom. The Bible tells us that Truth brings Freedom!
