'No More An Alien.'
Genesis 17:8.
a) God said:-
b) I will give to you (Abraham)
c) And to your offspring after you,
d) The land where you are now an alien,
e) All the land of Canaan,
f) For a perpetual holding;
g) And I will be their God.
(Through this QT I find the desire of God for His People: No More An Alien)
PRAYER: For all God's People, wherever we live, to be No More An Alien, because God loves all of His People, wherever they come from, we are the Family of God.

'God Knows.'
Acts 5:3-4.
a) Ananias and his wife did not give as to God as He had asked of them,
b) God knew this and revealed it to Peter.
c) Peter said to Ananias that he had lied to the Holy Spirit because Satan had filled his heart.
d) Ananias and his wife tried to deceive the Church.
e) They had lied to the Holy Spirit, they had kept for themselves what they should have given to God.
f) They contrived a deed which was a deliberate lie to God and to His Church.
(This Second one reminds me that God Knows)
PRAYER: That we will be good stewards of what God has given to us.

God clearly thought, and still thinks, about the coming generations. His Promise that He gave to Abraham was also for Abraham's offspring, the future generations. We live in a world system that is getting increasingly selfish amongst its affluent inhabitants, the poor are generally being 'left behind' (getting poorer). Maybe it is time for some of our Churches to pray about their priorities? Jesus taught us to preach the Gospel to the poor.
