Hezekiah was a compromising king. When we read about his life in the Scriptures we can see both good and bad about him and his kingship. He prayed to the Lord after he had made mistakes, rather than praying to the Lord for guidance and help because he was the king and really needed God's Wisdom and Protection over his life from the beginning of his reign. He came to God in times of need and emergency. That is weak leadership, whatever kind of leader we may be, it is an example of weak leadership. The good and godly leader makes prayer a priority in his or her life.
