'Two Silly And Sinful Sisters.'
Jeremiah 3:6-10. 
a)  Jeremiah 3:6. The Lord spoke to Jeremiah in the days of King Josiah. 
b)  Jeremiah 3:6. The Lord asked Jeremiah if he had seen what unfaithful Israel had done.
c)  Jeremiah 3:6. Israel went to every high hill and leafy tree. 
d)  Jeremiah 3:6. There she prostituted herself and played the whore. 
e)  Jeremiah 3:7. The Lord thought that after doing all this that she would return to Him.
f)  Jeremiah 3:7. But Israel did not return. 
g)  Jeremiah 3:7. Her treacherous sister Judah saw it all. 
h)  Jeremiah 3:8. Judah saw that because of Israel's adulteries, God sent Israel away with a bill of divorce. 
i)  Jeremiah 3:8. When Judah saw this, she was not afraid. 
j)  Jeremiah 3:8. Judah went off and prostituted herself as well. 
k)  Jeremiah 3:9. Israel took her prostitution lightly. 
l)  Jeremiah 3:9. Israel polluted the land.
m)  Jeremiah 3:9. Israel committed adultery with stone and tree. 
n)  Jeremiah 3:10. Yet because of all this. 
o)  Jeremiah 3:10. Judah did not return to the Lord with a whole heart. 
p)  Jeremiah 3:10. Judah returned to the Lord only in pretence. 
q)  Jeremiah 3:10. Judah was living in deception. 
(This QT reveals to me Two Silly And Sinful Sisters. It caused me to Pray for Israel!)

1 Thessalonians 4:14. 
a)  Since we Believe that Jesus died and rose again.
b)  We also believe that, through Jesus. 
c)  God will bring with Him.
d)  Those people who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 
(This Second one gives me great assurance: Truly Together With The Lord)

A Bill of Divorce is a very painful document. Both the person who gives it and the person who receives it are surely in great pain and, sometimes, also in great shame. We can see from the Words that God used He was in so much pain. His people, through their unfaithfulness had caused Him pain. I am sure that, even today, when God's People are unfaithful, we give Him pain.
