A Call To Return!


'A Call To Return.'
Jeremiah 3:11-13.
a)  Jeremiah 3:11. This is the Message that the Lord gave to Jeremiah. 
b)  Jeremiah 3:11. Israel had proved herself to be apostate and faithless.
c)  Jeremiah 3:11. Yet Israel was more Righteous than treacherous Judah.
d)  Jeremiah 3:12. Jeremiah had to go and proclaim these Words towards the North.
e)  Jeremiah 3:12. Jeremiah was to tell apostate and faithless Israel to return.
f)  Jeremiah 3:12. If they returned, the Lord would not be angry with them.
g)  Jeremiah 3:12. The Lord declared Himself to be Merciful and Loyal.
h)  Jeremiah 3:12. The Lord told His People that He would not be angry with them forever. 
i)  Jeremiah 3:13. Israel needed to acknowledge their guilt. 
j)  Jeremiah 3:13. They had rebelled against the Lord their God. 
k)  Jeremiah 3:13. Israel had joined with foreigners in idolatry. 
l)  Jeremiah 3:13. They had not obeyed the Voice of the Lord.

'Orderly And Powerful'
Matthew 3:13-16. 
a)  Matthew 3:13. Jesus came from Jordan to John in Galilee, to be Baptised by him. 
b)  Matthew 3:14. John attempted to dissuade Jesus, saying that he (John) should be Baptised by Jesus.
c)  Matthew 3:15. Jesus answered John:-
1-Permit it now. 
2-For this is the way. 
3-To fulfil all Righteousness.
d)  Matthew 3:15. Then John agreed. 
e)  Matthew 3:16. After Jesus was Baptised:-
1-Jesus immediately went up from the water. 
2-The Heavens were opened. 
3-He saw the Spirit of God. 
4-Descending like a dove upon Him. (Luke 4:18-19; Acts 10:38)

Israel had rebelled against the Lord their God. Most of Israel remains in that condition today. The Prayer of the True Church for Israel should be the same Prayer for all the Nations. The greatest need on the Earth today is the need for God. This is the same in all Nations. No one Nation should be given 'special treatment' by the Intercessors. The Great Need of the World today is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
