A Gift!


'A Gift.'
a)  Matthew 2:11. Gifts were given to the baby Jesus.
b)  Matthew 5:23. Gifts are given to the Lord in Worship.
c)  Hebrews 5:1. The High Priest offers Gifts to God. 
d)  Revelation 11:10. A Gift is given at rejoicing time. 
e)  John 4:10. The Gift of God needs to be known.
f)  Acts 2:38. The Holy Spirit is a Gift for us. 
g)  Romans 5:17. The Gift of Righteousness.
h)  2 Corinthians 9:15. God's unspeakable Gift. 
i)  Hebrews 6:4. The Heavenly Gift. 
j)  Romans 5:16. The free Gift that leads to Justification. 
k)  James 1:17. The perfect Gift from above. 
l)  Romans 1:11. Spiritual Gift. 
m)  Romans 5:15. The Gift by Grace. 
n)  1 Corinthians 1:7. Come behind in no gift. 
o)  1 Corinthians 7:7. Every man has his proper Gift of God. 
p)  2 Timothy 1:6. Stir up the Gift of God which is in us.
q)  1 Peter 4:10. Minister the Gift to one another. 
r)  2 Corinthians 8:4. Receive the Gift. 
s)  Hebrews 2:4. Gifts of the Holy Spirit. 
t)  Luke 21:5. The Temple was adorned with Gifts. 
u)  Proverbs 25:14. Avoid false "gifts".

Acts 2:41. 
a)  The people accepted Peter's Message. 
b)  Then they were Baptised. 
c)  On one day. 
d)  Three thousand people were added to the Church.
(Through this Second one I know it is important to Accept The Message First)

The New Testament has much to say about Spiritual Gifts. If we have any Spiritual Gift, it is for the Glory of God and for the edification of the Church. Here is a very good test of anyone who claims to have a Spiritual Gift: Does it Glorify God? Does it Edify the Church?
