'We Should Not Reject God's Call.' Jeremiah 1:6-8. a) Jeremiah 1:6. Jeremiah felt disturbed, with no peace, that is why he said: "Alas!" b) Jeremiah 1:6. Jeremiah confessed the Sovereignty of the Lord. c) Jeremiah 1:6. He felt unready for the task. d) Jeremiah 1:7. The Lord told Jeremiah not to talk or think in the wrong way. e) Jeremiah 1:7. The Lord told Jeremiah to go to everyone that he is sent to. f) Jeremiah 1:7. The Lord told Jeremiah to say all that He commands him to say. g) Jeremiah 1:8. The Lord told Jeremiah not to be afraid of the people. h) Jeremiah 1:8. The Lord was:- 1-With Jeremiah. 2-Able to rescue Jeremiah. 3-Able to deliver Jeremiah. (This QT reminds me that I Should Not Reject God's Call) ------------------ 'Come And Be Comforted.' Isaiah 66:11. a) Be filled. b) Be satisfied. c) Be comforted. d) Drink deeply. e) Delight in overflowing abundance. (This Second one invites me to Come And Be Comforted) ------------------ Chris. The Lord told Jeremiah to go to everyone that he was going to be sent to. This is a very significant and important statement that the Lord gave to Jeremiah. It remains God's Truth and Instruction until today. If the Lord sends us to some place, wherever it is, we should go. We go with His Presence and with His Promise. If we try to go our own way, however successful our first steps may seem to be, we are actually heading for disaster. This is what happens when we try to go our own way.
