'Nothing Beautiful About Calvary.'
Isaiah 53:2.
a) As Jesus grew up before His Father.
b) He was like a tender plant.
c) Jesus was like a root out of dry ground.
d) At the Cross Jesus had no:-
1-Beauty.
2-Majesty.
3-Form to attract us to Him.
e) There was nothing in His appearance there that we should desire Him.

People are generally attracted by beauty. How many many times have we heard different ones exclaim: This is so beautiful! The cameras come out and the people are attracted by beauty. The Cross of Calvary was very different, it was an ugly and horrifying scene. The tortuous death of our Saviour, most people just run away, they could not stand the bloody mess and the awful accusations. Yet, Jesus went to that place for us, that we might have New and Eternal Life.
