'Who Has The Father?'
1 John 2:23.
a) Whoever:-
1-Does not accept the Son.
2-Denies the Son.
3-Repudiates the Son.
b) Does not have the Father.
c) Whoever:-
1-Confesses the Son.
2-Acknowledges the Son.
3-Accepts the Son.
d) Has the Father too.

'We Should Not Turn Away.'
2 Peter 2:20-21.
a) If they escape the:-
1-Corruption in the World system.
2-Evil in the World system.
3-Depravity in the World system.
4-Defilement in the World system.
b) They escape through knowing the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
c) They return and get entangled again with evil things.
d) These evil things:-
1-Control them.
2-Master them.
3-Overpower them.
4-Defeat them.
e) They become worse off at the end as they were at the beginning.
f) It would have been better for them not to have known the way of Righteousness.
g) Than to know it and turn away from the Holy Teaching.
h) The Holy Teaching to them was:-
1-Given.
2-Passed on.
3-Handed down.
(This Second one clearly reminds me that I Should Not Turn Away)

Once we have been saved by the Lord Jesus Christ we should not get entangled again with evil things. We should not take our life as a True Believer for granted. In order to maintain our Spiritual life we should follow the pattern of the early Church in the Book of Acts. Bible study, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread and Prayer.
