What A Burden!


'What A Burden.'
Isaiah 46:1-2.
a)  The god Bel bows down.
b)  The god Nebo stoops low.
c)  To carry around they are burdens.
d)  A great load for weary people.
e)  These gods stoop low and bow down together.
f)  They are not able to escape carrying heavy loads.
g)  They go away into captivity.

'God Always Leads Us In Triumph.'
2 Corinthians 2:14.
a)  Here is cause for us to give Thanks to God.
b)  He always leads us as captives of His Victory because of Christ.
c)  Wherever Apostle Paul and his teams went.
d)  God used them to make clear what it meant to know Christ.
e)  It was like a fragrance filling the Earth.
(Through this Second one I thank Him because God Always Leads Us In Triumph)

The gods of the Nations are actually great burdens for the people. I know that some of the domestic and garden personal gods of people may even weigh two tons or more. These huge and clumsy gods are found, not only in their temples of worship - but even in their homes. Let us pray that the peoples of the Nations will turn to the Living God.
