Meaningful Searches.


‘Meaningful Searches.’
a) Revelation 2:23. The Lord Jesus searches out the thoughts and intentions of every person.
b) John 5:39; 7:52. We are to search the Scriptures.
c) 1 Corinthians 2:10. The Holy Spirit searches out everything.
d) Romans 8:27. The Heavenly Father searches the hearts of people.
(Through this QT I can understand some Meaningful searches.

‘Properly Caring For The Church.’
1 Thessalonians 2:6-14.
a) 1 Thessalonians 2:6. Not trying to seek human praise from the people we serve and care for.
b) 1 Thessalonians 2:7. Be gentle – nurturing the Believers.
c) 1 Thessalonians 2:8. Caring much for the Church and sharing lives with the True Believers. Clearly ministering the Gospel in Love.
d) 1 Thessalonians 2:9. Working night and day so as not to burden the Church.
e) 1 Thessalonians 2:10. Living lives that are:-
1- Devout.
2- Righteous.
3- Blameless.
f) 1 Thessalonians 2:11. Caring for the Church as a father cares for his children.
g) 1 Thessalonians 2:12. God calls His Church into His Kingdom and Glory. So the Church needs:-
1- Encouraging.
2- Comforting.
3- Imploring to walk worthy of God.
h) 1 Thessalonians 2:13. Then the Church will receive the Message, not as the Message of man but as the Message from God which will effectively work in them.
i) 1 Thessalonians 2:14. Preparing the Church for possible persecution.
(Through this Second one I can see clearly how the Church Leaders need to be Properly Caring For The Church)

Church Leaders of course are to serve and care for the people in the Church. They need to do this in such a way as not to seek the peoples’ praises for themselves. It is easy to be tempted in both seeking the praises of people by being “people pleasers” and also it is easy in many Christian cultures for the Believers to fall into the trap of “worshipping” their leaders.
