A Man In Love!

a) In order to be able to marry Rachel, Laban’s daughter.
b) Jacob worked for Laban seven years.
c) It only seemed like a few days to Jacob.
d) Because he loved Laban so much.

e) Matthew 8:3. His Healing for the leprous social outcasts.
f) Matthew 8:16-17. His Healing for the sick and demonised people.
g) Matthew 9:36; 14:14. His Compassion for the confused and helpless crowds.

Sometimes we have to be amongst crowds of people, especially when we go into the city or large town. I am not writing here about the large Church congregations but about the crowds, the masses of people on the streets. We must be careful not to do two things. Firstly, we must be careful not to treat the large Church congregations as if they are the crowds and try to minister to them as if they are the crowds. If we do that, our Church will only be a large Church for one generation. Secondly, we should not ignore the crowds, whoever they are and whatever background they come from. Whatever their religion or financial status, we should not ignore them because Jesus has compassion on them.
