‘Follow The Teaching That Comes From Christ.’
Colossians 2:8.
a) Be sure that no one leads us away.
b) They use false and empty teaching that is only human.
c) This teaching comes from the ruling spirits of this World.
d) It does not come from Christ.

‘Counsel For The Thoughts And Attitudes Of The Lord’s Servant.’
1 Timothy 4:7-16.
a) 1 Timothy 4:7. Do not follow foolish stories that disagree with God’s Truth.
b) 1 Timothy 4:7. Train yourself to be godly.
c) 1 Timothy 4:8. Physical exercise does help us in some ways.
d) 1 Timothy 4:8. A disciplined life in God is far more useful, making us fit for both today and forever.
e) 1 Timothy 4:9. This is trustworthy and everyone should accept it.
f) 1 Timothy 4:10. This is why we work and struggle: We Hope in the Living God Who is the Saviour of all people, especially of those people who are True Believers.
g) 1 Timothy 4:11. These things are to be commanded and taught.
h) 1 Timothy 4:12. Do not let anyone despise our youth. (Because of the way we behave)
i) 1 Timothy 4:12. We should be an example to the True Believers with our:-
1- Words.
2- Actions.
3- Love.
4- Faith.
5- Pure Life.
j) 1 Timothy 4:13. For the people we serve:-
1- Read the Scriptures to them.
2- Strengthen them.
3- Teach them.
k) 1 Timothy 4:14. Do not neglect the Holy Spirit’s Gifts that are given to us. The Elders (whether Church Elders or Ministerial Elders) have prayed and prophesied over us for those.
l) 1 Timothy 4:15. Continue to do these things – do not give up.
m) 1 Timothy 4:15. Give our life to doing these things.
n) 1 Timothy 4:15. Only then will our Spiritual life and progress be seen by other people. (Especially the people we serve)
o) 1 Timothy 4:16. We should be careful in our life and in our Teaching.
p) 1 Timothy 4:16. If we continue to live and Teach correctly we will save both ourselves and those people who listen to us.

The Churches and gatherings of True Believers need to be strengthened. What makes Churches and True Believers weak is the kind of regular treatment and ministry that they receive. The Bible clearly gives the pattern in the Book of Acts: Bible Study, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread and Prayers. Today it is common in the Body of Christ for ministers to take their own words and make up a “sermon” and preach it as if it was God’s Word, this is a recipe for spiritual disaster for now and the next generations. True Believers need to be strengthened.
