Pray For Our Persecutors!


‘Pray For Our Persecutors.’
Acts 9:1-4.
a) Acts 9:1. They threaten us.
b) Acts 9:1. They are eager to destroy us.
c) Acts 9:1. They may turn to political means.
d) Acts 9:1-2. They may turn to legal means.
e) Acts 9:2. They want to chain us.
f) Acts 9:3. Pray for Heavenly intervention.
g) Acts 9:4. Our persecutors are persecuting the Lord.

‘Remember Who We Are As Disciples.’
John 13:16.
a) Jesus Christ described this as being True, it is the Truth.
b) We are not greater than our Master.
c) We are not more important than the One Who sends us.
(Through this Second one I am to Remember Who I Am As A Disciple)

Persecutors of the Church and Believers want to chain us. This can mean all kinds of things in different situations. The summary meaning is that they want to render our service for the Lord ineffective through whatever means they can. Jesus encourages us to pray for those who persecute us and to Bless them in our prayers.
