a) Jesus Christ has given to the Church:-
1- Apostles.
2- Prophets.
3- Evangelists.
4- Shepherds.
5- Teachers.
b) These people are to equip the Church for the work of ministry.
c) These people are to build up the Body of Christ.

Shepherds! These are commonly called “Pastors” in English speaking countries and also countries that have been served by English speaking Missionaries. I like the word “shepherd” it gives a very good description of how a leader of God’s People should be. One who cares for and feeds the flock of God. May God raise up more true shepherds for His Flocks.
