The Challenges In Jesus’ Teachings!


‘The Challenges In Jesus’ Teachings.’
Matthew 5:21-48.
a) Matthew 5:21-22. We need to deal with our anger.
b) Matthew 5:23-24. If there is need for reconciliation with someone, we need to reconcile before we can Worship.
c) Matthew 5:25-26. If there is a matter that requires legal settlement it is much better and wiser to settle out of court if it is possible.
d) Matthew 5:27-28. We need to deal with our sexual lust.
e) Matthew 5:29-30. Have the Fear of the Lord and do not make excuses for sin.
f) Matthew 5:31-32. Divorce should be avoided at all costs, except in the matter of marital unfaithfulness.
g) Matthew 5:33-37. Do not make oaths, a simple yes or no is enough.
h) Matthew 5:38-39. We should not take revenge.
i) Matthew 5:40-42. We are not to close our hearts to people – even if we find them offensive.
j) Matthew 5:43-48. We go on to perfection through loving people, even if sometimes their response is negative.

Matthew 6:1-18.
a) Matthew 6:1-4. Merciful deeds.
b) Matthew 6:5-13. Private Prayer.
c) Matthew 6:14-15. Forgiveness towards other people.
d) Matthew 6:16-18. Private fasting.
(Here I am reminded about Important Parts Of A Person’s Relationship With God)

We need to observe and to understand Jesus’ Teachings. These Teachings are of vital importance for the Church. The Church needs to adhere to them. For individual True Believers also, the Teachings of Jesus should hold a strong influence over their lives.
