Chris.
Faith and Preaching are words from the Bible that make a very normal
partnership. Faith comes to us by hearing the Words of God and Christ. If those
people who are serving the Lord in some kind of pastoral capacity wish to be
caring for people of Faith, whether they are adults or children, these servants
of the Lord need first to be preaching the Words of God and Christ, not their
own ideas or visions. If the Church lacks Faith, it simply means the people are
starved of Truth. Pastors should never tell their flock that the flock needs
more faith; rather, they should examine their Preaching.
