‘Rest.’
a) Hebrews 4:3. Belongs to those who believe.
b) Exodus 33:14. Comes in the Presence of the
Lord.
c) Psalm 116:7. Comes because of God’s bountiful dealing
with us.
d) Isaiah 14:3. Rest from: -
1.
Pain
2.
Turmoil
3.
Harsh Service
e) Isaiah 30:15. In it is Salvation.
f) Matthew 11:29. Is Found in Christ.
g) Revelation 14:13. Is in Heaven.
(Through this QT, I know that I am blessed to
find rest.)

‘Patience.’
a) Hebrews 12:1. We need it to lead our Christian
Life well.
b) Romans 15:5. God is the God of Patience.
c) Titus 2:2. Is something that old men should
have.
d) 2 Peter 1:6. It is something we are to work
on; it is not a gift.
e) James 1:3. Sometimes is developed by the
testing of our faith.
f) 1 Peter 2:20. Is needed in our difficult
situations.
g) Luke 8:15. Is needed if we are to have a
fruitful life.
h) Psalm 37:7; 40:1. In waiting for God.
i) Hebrews 10:36; 6:12. In inheriting the
promises of God.
j) 1 Thessalonians 5:14. We need it with
everyone.
k) 1 Timothy 6:11; 2 Corinthians 6:4. Should be
the character of every man of God.
l) Colossians 1:11. Can be attained joyfully.

Be blessed by Rest in God. This is a very great Blessing that He wants to give to us – the calm life of the True Believer is the most significant life that we can live. Let us not be too pressurised by the businesses of life. The money-chasing rat race of the world system is not for the true believer. Please rest in God.
