'Lot's Request Answered.'
Genesis 19:21.
a) The Angel said to Lot:
b) "See,
c) "I am doing what you ask.
d) "I will not destroy this town that you have spoken about."

PRAYER: For the City, Town or Village where we live.

'Even Owls And Buzzards Need A Home.'
Isaiah 34:15.
a) There the owl will make a nest
b) And lay her eggs.
c) She will hatch her young
d) And cover them with her wings.
e) And the buzzards will come,
f) Each one with its mate.
(This Second one reminds me that Even Owls And Buzzards Need A Home and the picture reminds us that pigs need a home too!)

There are times when we need encouragement for our Prayer life. This incident, recorded here in Genesis surely encourages us to Pray. The Angel of the Lord said to Lot that Lot's Prayer and asking had been answered, the Lord was going to demonstrate His Mercy. It also shows us that Praying for the place where we live is a Prayer that the Lord answers. Yes, we should be Praying for our City, Town or Village.
