The Youth Jesus!



The Youth Jesus.
Luke 2:46-52.
a)   Luke 2:46. The parents of Jesus lost Him I the crowd on the journey that they were taking.
b)   Luke 2:46. After three days they came across Him in the Jewish Temple.
c)   Luke 2:46. He was seated amongst the Temple Teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.
d)   Luke 2:47. Everyone who heard Him was amazed at His:-
1- Knowledge.
2- Understanding.
3- Answers.
e)   Luke 2:48. When the parents of Jesus saw Him there they were surprised and asked Him why He was doing this.
f)    Luke 2:48. The parents thought that Jesus had done something wrong. They were anxious about Him even though previously they had received so many promises about Him.
g)   Luke 2:49. Jesus answered them that He was in the correct place, the Heavenly Fathers House. They should have known that He was there.
h)   Luke 2:50. His parents could not understand what He was saying to them.
i)    Luke 2:51. Then He went with His parents and was obedient to them.
j)    Luke 2:51. His mother:-
1- Kept all these words in her heart.
2- Treasured all these things in her heart.
3- Pondered upon these things in her heart.
k)   Luke 2:52. Jesus increased in:-
1- Wisdom.
2- Years.
3- Favour with God.

A Change Of Direction In Their Ministry.
2 Chronicles 35:3.
a)   The change of direction was brought about by the highest possible authority in the land the King Josiah.
b)   The ministers concerned were Teachers who were consecrated to the Lord.
c)   The Ark of God had been put into its proper place in Solomons Temple. It now longer had to be transported on their backs. This was a huge change for them.
d)   Now these Teacher Priests were free to serve the Lord and His People.
(This Second is amazing: It shows how the Lord brought about A Change Of Direction In Their Ministry and I know that He is able to do that in any Ministers life)

A huge change came into the lives of these Teacher/Priests who were consecrated to the Lord. They were faithful in their duties, carrying the Ark of God and also teaching and reading the Scripture at certain times. The Lord then brought them release through an environmental change of circumstance. They could now further develop their Ministry of Teaching.
