The Minister's Example!

The Ministers Example.
Titus 2:7-8.
a)    The Ministers are to show themselves.
b)    As models of good works.
c)     As having integrity in Teaching.
d)    As dignified.
e)    As making sound speech that cannot be condemned.
f)      As causing opponents to be silenced by their good behaviour.
(This QT reminds me of The Ministers Example)
-----
Stony Ground.
a)    Mark 4:5. There is not much earth there.
b)    Mark 4:16-17. It refers to people who come to the Lord then easily fall away because they have no root.
c)     Ezekiel 11:19; 36:26. God wants to take our stony heart away.
(Through this Second one I know that I do not want to be Stony Ground)
-----
Chris.
Ministers need to make sound speech that cannot be condemned. The minister who talks in a frivolous way cannot be trusted. The minister who gossips about other people cannot be trusted. The minister who attempts to impress people by his or her talking cannot be trusted. The fact that a ministers makes sound speech, both publicly and privately can cause them to be trusted.

God Gave Us Life And Spirit!

God Gave Us Life And Spirit.
a)    Ecclesiastes 12:7. When we die our spirit returns to God.
b)    Genesis 2:7. God formed man by dust and breathe (spirit).
c)     Numbers 16:22; 27:16. God is the God of our spirit.
d)    Isaiah 57:16. It is possible for our spirit to grow faint.
e)    Zechariah 12:1. The Lord formed our spirit within us.
f)      Hebrews 12:9. God is the Father of spirits.
g)     Hebrews 12:23. In Heaven our spirit will become perfect, made perfect by God.
(Through this QT I understand that God Gave Me Life And Spirit)
----
Abide In The Word Of The Lord.
John 8:31-32.
a)    Jesus said to the Jews who Believed in Him. (He was talking to True Believers)
b)    If they, and we, abide in His Word.
c)     They, and we, could and can truly become His Disciples.
d)    They, and we, will know the Truth.
e)    This Truth will set us free.
(This Second one calls me to Abide In The Word Of The Lord)
 ----
Chris.
God is our Father in all ways Divine! He is the Father of spirits, the One Who has given Life to us in every way. God is the Father to Whom we pray in Jesus Name. God is the Father Who Loves us and His Love can be poured into our heart by the Holy Spirit Who is given to us.

To The Lord Be Glory!

To The Lord Be Glory.
Psalm 115:1.
a)    Lord, this is not to us or for our sake.
b)    We give Glory to the Lords Name.
c)     This is because of the Lords steadfast and merciful Love.
d)    This is because of the Lords Faithfulness.
(Through this QT I proclaim: To The Lord Be Glory)
---
We Are Blessed By God.
Matthew 13:11-16.
a)    Matthew 13:11. We are Blessed because we know the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven.
b)    Matthew 13:12. We are Blessed because if we have, more shall be given to us.
c)     Matthew 13:13-14. We are Blessed because we can understand the Parables of Jesus.
d)    Matthew 13:15. We are Blessed because we understand Jesus Words and are healed by them.
e)    Matthew 13:16. We are Blessed because our eyes see and our ears hear.
(This Second one reminds me that I Am Blessed By God)
---
Chris.
We are Blessed by God! Such is the modern misinterpretation and misunderstanding of the word Blessed that many True Believers are praying to be Blessed when they already are. Some very actively teach (falsely) that Blessing is mainly to do with wealth and health. This is completely false and can leave poor and sick True Believers living in condemnation. Let us endeavour to seek out the Word of God and discover the true meaning of Blessing.

n)    James 4:8. Should be pure.
o)    Romans 10:10. Helps us to Believe and be Justified.
p)     Proverbs 20:9; Acts 15:8-9. We cannot clean it by our self.
(This Second one clearly speaks to me about My Heart)
--
Chris.
God can put things into our heart. That is a very wonderful Truth from Gods Word. When God puts something into our heart, it stays there in Peace and it is positive, it is a Promise or Direction from God. The fulfilment of what God puts into our heart is usually not instant, it may take years but surely it will be fulfilled if God has put it there.

'Come With Confidence.

b)    Come with confidence to the Throne of Grace.
c)     We can receive Mercy.
d)    We can receive Grace to help us in our time of need.
(Through this Second one I know that I am invited to Come With Confidence to the Throne of Grace)

-------

Chris.

Wheels are an important part of our lives. Even in the days of the Old Testament the people used wheels to move forms of transport. God gave the skill and ability to make wheels. In these days, increasingly, wheels are being used in thousands of ways and with a host of different functions. This amazes me that the skill God gave people to invent, make and use wheels has become such a big part of our normal day by day life that we hardly stop to think about them. Wheels!

You Oh Lord!

You Oh Lord.
Psalm 86:15.
a)    Are a Merciful God.
b)    Are a Gracious God.

Jesus Came.
Ephesians 2:17-18.
a)    Jesus came.
b)    Jesus proclaimed Peace to those of us who were afar away from Him.
c)     Jesus proclaimed Peace to those of us who were near to Him.
d)    Through Jesus we all have access in One Spirit to the Father.
(Through this Second one: Jesus Came, I find a beautiful and meaningful expression of our Triune God)
-------
Chris.
The Lord is abounding in Faithfulness. He is always there and He always cares. I love Him, not because of what He has done for me, I love Him because of Who He is. The Lord Jesus is the Way, through Him we have access to the Father. Without Him I would be lost in the World system, in Him I have Hope.

c)     Psalm 123:3. We can cry to the Lord for His Mercy, especially when facing contempt.
d)    Psalm 123:3-4. We have had our fill of:-
1-         Contempt.
2-         Scorn.
3-         Arrogance.
(This Second one encourages me to Keep Looking To The Lord)
------
Chris.
Young women in the Church are to be self controlled. This is quite difficult for young women living in a fallen World, especially if that fallen World has invaded the Church in some way. This is one of the reasons that Church Leaders need to be Praying for young women in the Church.

b)    Exodus 14:13. To see the Salvation of the Lord. (When He tells us to do that)
c)     1 Corinthians 15:58. And abound in the Work of the Lord.
d)    James 5:8. Because the Lords Coming is near.
(This Second one encourages me to Stand Firm)
-----
Chris.
Stand firm! These are words that are sometimes spoken by the Lord Himself and sometimes by His Servants. When God speaks to our heart with these words we simply just need to do it. Stand firm and do not be shaken. Stand firm!

f)      Matthew 27:39. The people who passed by Jesus wagged their heads and insulted Him.
g)     Matthew 27:40. The people mocked Jesus for having claimed to be the Son of God.

l)      Matthew 27:45. From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over the land.
m)   Matthew 27:46. Around the ninth hour Jesus cried out: My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?
n)    Matthew 27:47. The bystanders thought that Jesus was calling for Elijah. Jesus was totally misunderstood.
o)    Matthew 27:48. Jesus was then offered sour wine to drink.
(This Second one teaches me more about what Jesus suffered Whilst Hanging On The Cross)
----
Chris.
Jesus was accused of being unable to save Himself. This was a totally false accusation. Of course Jesus could have saved Himself, with just one call to the Father the Angels would have been sent to rescue Him. No, Jesus gave Himself for us on the Cross as a Sacrifice for our sins and He is the Way, the only Way, for us to experience new Life in God, Eternal Life.

The Christian Life!
