‘A Great Harvest Time.’
John 4:29-42.
a) John 4:29. The woman had a very real encounter with Jesus Christ and she was not ashamed to tell her village about it.
b) John 4:30. The entire village came out to seek Jesus Christ.
c) John 4:31-33. The Disciples could not understand Jesus’ response to them about food.
d) John 4:34. Jesus Christ said that His food was to do the Will of God and to finish His Work.
e) John 4:35-39. The great harvest that Jesus was talking about came out to meet Him.
f) John 4:40. The people begged Jesus to stay with them. The harvest was ripe.
g) John 4:41. Many people Believed on Jesus Christ because of His Word.
h) John 4:42. The Harvest was convinced:-
1- Because of what the woman had said.
2- Because of what Jesus Christ said.
3- That Jesus Christ was the Saviour of the World. (He still is!)

‘Disciples Should Be Witnesses.’
John 15:27.
a) They were Christ’s Witnesses.
b) They were going to bear Witness of Him.
c) They had been trained – with Him from the beginning.
(This Second one teaches me that Disciples Should Be Witnesses)

The Great Harvest came out to meet Jesus Christ. When people have faithfully preached the Gospel surely God will prepare the Harvest. We cannot make any harvest happen – it has to be God’s doing. Our part is to sow the seed and do the Will of God. God’s part is preparing the Harvest.
