The Godly Leader!


‘The Godly Leader.’
Proverbs 16:12-15.
a) Proverbs 16:12. Despises wrongdoing.
b) Proverbs 16:12. Makes his rule depend on his justice.
c) Proverbs 16:13. Is pleased with people who have righteous lips.
d) Proverbs 16:13. Loves those people who speak honestly.
e) Proverbs 16:14. His anger is a deadly threat and wise people do what they can to appease it.
f) Proverbs 16:15. When he smiles there is life.
g) Proverbs 16:15. His favour refreshes like gentle rain.

‘Teaching And Learning Is A Part Of Church Life.’
a) Acts 2:42. The early Believers devoted themselves to the Apostles’ Teaching.
b) Romans 16:17. Teaching of Believers helps them not to go astray.
c) 1 Corinthians 11:2. Teaching in the Church need to followed by the hearers.
d) 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. It is Bible based and Bible centred.
e) 2 Thessalonians 2:15. Stand firm and keep a strong grip on what we have been taught.
f) 1 Timothy 1:3. Stop those people who are teaching wrong doctrine.
g) 1 Timothy 6:1; Titus 2:9-10. God’s Teaching will not be shamed when employees respect their employers.
h) 1 Timothy 6:3. Sound and wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ are the foundation for a godly life.
i) 1 Timothy 6:4. False teachers stir up trouble in the Church.
j) 2 Timothy 4:3. Some people want “teaching” that only pleases their selfish desires.
k) 2 Peter 2:21. Teaching the Word of God is teaching Holy Commandments.
(This Second one clearly reminds me that Teaching And Learning Is A Part Of Church Life)

A godly Leader despises wrong doing. This is something that really is pleasing to the Lord. It means that the godly Leader has a very positive influence on the people that are being led. This, of course, must be applied to Church life. A godly Leader will help the Church to be pure in God’s Sight.
