'It Had Not Yet Happened.'
Acts 8:16.
a) For He had not yet fallen on any of them,
b) But they had only been Baptised
c) In the Name of the Lord Jesus.
(This QT reveals that It Had Not Yet Happened)
PRAY: To experience the Holy Spirit's falling upon us.

'It Was God's Doing.'
Genesis 45:8.
a) Now, therefore,
b) It was not you who sent me here,
c) But God;
d) And He has made me:
i) A father to Pharaoh
ii) And lord of all his household
iii) And Ruler over all the Land of Egypt.
(Through this Second One I can see that It Was God's Doing)
PRAY: To respond well to God's Working in our lives.

Reading the Book of Genesis really gives us a good foundation for understanding Bible history. To read through the Scriptures from beginning to end as initial Bible Reading self discipline is a really good habit. Once we have read through we can surely develop our own Bible Reading habits and practices. We learn to appreciate the Sovereignty of God!
