The fear of Jacob made him make decisions that caused other people a lot of hard and unnecessary work. When the Leaders of God's People are in fear, many of their actions and attitudes are simply 'not helpful'. I am so Blessed when I see Senior Pastors, some of them already passed on to their reward, others still amongst us and actively serving, setting their Churches a good example through their dedicated work and ministry.
When congregational leaders are motivated by fear, it makes things very difficult for the congregation that they serve. The emotional and spiritual condition of the Church Leadership certainly affects the life, emotions and testimony of the Church where they serve.
We should Pray for our congregational Leaders to be free from fear and to make good decisions for the Church.
