Luke 1:22.
a) When Zechariah came out of the Temple.
b) He could not speak to the people.
c) The people realized that Zechariah had seen a vision in the Temple.
d) Zechariah kept making signs to the people. (For communication)
e) But he could not speak.

'The Anointing Upon The Lord Jesus.'
Isaiah 61:1.
a) It was especially for Him.
b) It was the Anointing of the Sovereign Lord.
c) It was on Jesus Christ.
d) It was to enable Him to:-
1-Proclaim Good News to the poor.
2-Bind up the broken hearted people.
3-Proclaim freedom for the captives.
4-Give release from darkness for the prisoners.

When Zechariah encountered the Presence of God in the Temple it was obviously a very dramatic event in his life. He came out of the Temple and was unable to speak. His enforced silence spoke to the people more than any words could! The people realized that he had really "met with God".
