c) To testify to the Churches.

1-The Root of David.
2-The Offspring of David.
3-David's Great Descendant.
4-The Bright And Morning Star.

'Consider The Son Of Man.'
Mark 9:12.
a) Jesus was answering His inquisitive Disciples.
b) He told them that Elijah would come to get everything ready.
c) Elijah would restore all things.
d) He told them that He Himself - the Son of Man:-
1-Must suffer many things.
2-Must suffer terribly.
3-Will be set at nought.
4-Will be rejected.

Jesus is the Eternal Root of David. Revelation tells us that it is the Root of David that prevails and opens the Book of Life in Heaven. Jesus also sent His Angel to the Churches to testify that He is the Root of David. It is clear in the Scripture that Jesus Christ and David both figure with great importance in the Scriptures, historically, in the present and in the future.
