'Those Who Have Transgressed.'
a) Jeremiah 2:29. We cannot plead with God if we have transgressed against Him and that transgression is not yet confessed and forgiven by Him.
b) Jeremiah 3:13. We need to acknowledge our iniquity, that we have transgressed against the Lord our God.
c) Jeremiah 33:8. God is able to cleanse us and pardon us from every transgression.
d) Jeremiah 34:18. The people who have transgressed and not kept God's Covenant He will punish.
e) Lamentation 3:42. When we are living continually in our transgressions we are not forgiven by God.
f) Ezekiel 2:3. The rebellious people of Israel continually rebelled against the Lord.
g) Ezekiel 18:31. We are to cast away from us all the transgressions with which we have transgressed.
h) Hosea 7:13; 8:1. Destruction comes to those people who transgress against the Lord. Although the Lord had redeemed them, they had spoken lies against Him.

John 2:23.
a) Jesus was in Jerusalem.
b) It was the time of Passover.
c) During the Feast many people Believed on the Name of Jesus.
d) Because they saw His Signs which He was doing.

There are some people, even though they have heard the Gospel, yes, even though they may go to the Church, who live continually in their transgressions. This is a fact of religious life, it really does happen. Even though in Church, their heart becomes 'Gospel hardened'. May we never ever reach that awful state!
