'The Fifth Angel, His Trumpet And A Key.'
Revelation 9:1-6.
a) Revelation 9:1. The fifth Angel blew His trumpet.
b) Revelation 9:1. John saw a star that had fallen from the sky to Earth.
c) Revelation 9:1. The star was given the key to the shaft of the abyss.
d) Revelation 9:2. When the Angel opened the Abyss.
e) Revelation 9:2. Smoke rose from it.
f) Revelation 9:2. Like smoke from a gigantic furnace.
g) Revelation 9:2. The Sun and the sky were darkened by the smoke from the abyss.
h) Revelation 9:3. Out of the smoke locusts came down on the Earth.
i) Revelation 9:3. These locusts were given power.
j) Revelation 9:3. It was like the scorpions of the Earth.
k) Revelation 9:4. The locusts were told not to harm:-
1-The grass of the Earth.
2-Any Plant.
3-Any Tree.
l) Revelation 9:4. They could harm only those people who did not have God's Mark on their foreheads.
m) Revelation 9:5. The locusts were not allowed to kill these people.
n) Revelation 9:5. They were to torture them for five months.
o) Revelation 9:5. The agony and torment that these people suffered.
p) Revelation 9:5. Was like that of a sting of a scorpion when it strikes.
q) Revelation 9:6. During those days people will seek death but not find it.
r) Revelation 9:6. They will long to die.
s) Revelation 9:6. But Death will elude them.

'Sent Away.'
Genesis 21:14.
a) This happened early in the morning.
b) Abraham wanted to do this quietly and secretly.
c) Abraham took some food and a water skin and gave them to Hagar. .
d) Then he sent Hagar and Ishmael away. <Sent Away = Divorce>
e) So Hagar left.
f) She wandered in the Desert of Beersheba.
(This Second one shows me that God understands the person who has been Sent Away)

The locusts were told by God not to harm any tree at that time. Trees were a very necessary part of life in the Bible Days. The wood from trees had a great amount of uses. I will not bore you with examples here. Even though His People had been so disobedient God still identified Himself with them.
