We Should Not Be Unhealthily Dependent!

‘We Should Not Be Unhealthily Dependent.’
Galatians 6:17-18.
a) Apostle Paul wanted the Galatian Believers to stop bothering him over religious issues and debates. He wanted them to be mature and not leaning on him or pushing him.
b) Apostle Paul asked them very nicely not to give him any more trouble.
c) Apostle Paul bore on his body scars to show that he belonged to Jesus and that Jesus was his Master.
d) Apostle Paul really wanted the Galatian Believers to stand in the Grace of God.
(Through this QT I know that I Should Not Be Unhealthily Dependent on any Christian Leader or Teacher, but I should depend on the Grace of God)

‘Going Through In Victory.’
2 Corinthians 4:17-18.
a) Apostle Paul was going through:-
1- Momentary light afflictions.
2- A light and transitory burden of suffering.
3- Present troubles.
b) This trouble was going to bring him a tremendous and eternal Glory, much greater than the trouble.
c) So Apostle Paul did not look at the troubles he could see.
d) Apostle Paul looked by Faith at the things that were not seen.
e) Things seen are temporary but things unseen are Eternal.
(This Second one encourages me to be Going Through In Victory)

Chris.
Apostle Paul really wanted the Galatian Believers to stand in the Grace of God. This must surely be the Desire of God Himself for all True Believers. The Church that encourages unhealthy dependency now will suffer many struggles in the next generation. We all, whoever we are, need to learn to stand in the Grace of God.
