Does It All Mean Nothing?

‘Does It All Mean Nothing?’
Galatians 3:4-5.
Apostle Paul was writing from his heart concerning the Salvation experience of the Galatian Believers which, generally, was suspect because of their rejection of God’s Grace. His words were strong and loving.
a) Had all their former experiences of God meant nothing?
b) Did they suffer so many things as Christians in vain?
c) Did Salvation and miracles come as a result of obeying the Old Testament law?
d) Or did Salvation and miracles come because they heard the Gospel of God’s Grace and Believed it?
(Does It All Mean Nothing? This QT reminds me of some Churches even today. Churches that are so legalistic, proud and separatist. I have the same heart as Apostle Paul here: Wake up, shake it off and trust in the Saving Grace of God)

‘They Forgot The Promise Of The Resurrection Of Jesus.’
Luke 24:19-21.
a) Luke 24:19. They were already seeing Jesus in the past tense:-
1- He was a Prophet.
2- He was mighty in deed and in Word before God.
3- The people considered Him powerful in everything He said and did.
b) Luke 24:20. He has been crucified.
c) Luke 24:21. We had hoped that He would have been the One to Redeem Israel.
d) Luke 24:21. Now this was all history – it had happened three days before.
(Through this Second one I can clearly see the failure of the early Disciples: They Forgot The Promise Of The Resurrection Of Jesus)

Chris.
Salvation and miracles do not come as a result of obeying Old Testament Law. I have met some dear people, very kind and pure, who have an incorrect understanding of the Grace of God. Some of them come from strong religious backgrounds and have been exposed to the Bible since they were children. Others come from a charismatic experiential Christian background. Whatever the background, if we have a wrong concept of the Grace of God we are in danger of becoming a cult.

The Christian Life!

'The Christian Life.' a)  Deuteronomy 7:11. Keep the Word of  God. b)  Deuteronomy  7:12. Listen to the Word of God. c)  Deuteronomy...
