Jesus Christ Did What No One Else Had Done!

'Jesus Christ Did What No One Else Had Done.'

John 15:24.

a)  "If I had not done among them

b)  "The works that no one else did,

c)  "They would not be guilty of sin,

d)  "They have seen and hated

e)  "Both Me and My Father."

(This QT teaches me that Jesus Christ Did What No One Else Had Done. The picture reminds me that He fed the multitudes!)

PRAY: To understand well the Words of Jesus Christ in John's Gospel.

---

'Apostle Paul's Speech And Message.'

1 Corinthians 2:4.

a)  And my speech

b)  And my message

c)  Were not in plausible words of wisdom,

d)  But in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.

(Through this Second one I understand more about the motives behind Apostle Paul's Speech And Message)

PRAY: For the Messages spoken in our Churches.

---

Chris.

Please note that Apostle Paul "owned" the Messages that he wrote and spoke! If all ministers followed this example, I believe the spiritual life and Bible knowledge of the Churches would grow significantly. It was obvious that He really depended on the Holy Spirit's anointing and power to enable him to fulfil his ministry - a great lesson for us!

Apostle Paul's Real Sufferings.

'Apostle Paul's Real Sufferings.'

Romans 8:36.

a)  As it is written:

b)  "For Your sake we face death all day long;

c)  We are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

(This QT reminds me of Apostle Paul's Real Sufferings and causes me to pray for suffering Believers today)

PRAY: For suffering Believers.

---------------------------

'More Than Conquerors.'

Romans 8:37.

a)  No,

b)  In all these things

c)  We are more than conquerors

d)  Through Him Who loved us.

(Through this Second one I am grateful to God that we can be More Than Conquerors)

PRAY: To live a conqueror's life in Jesus Christ.

--------------------------

Chris.

As True Believers there are certain things and people that we have to say "no" to! I think that, most importantly, we need to say "no" to any and all forms of sin. Temptation can come in many forms and through different people. God will always give us the strength to say "no" - He is always Faithful.

A Place For Water Baptism!

 'A Place For Water Baptism.'

John 1:28.

a)  These things were done

b)  In Bethabara beyond the Jordan,

c)  Where John was baptising.

(This QT teaches that there was A Place For Water Baptism)

PRAY: For our Churches to have A Place For Water Baptism.

------------------

'The Word Became Flesh.'

John 1:14.

a)  The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.

b)  We have seen His Glory,

c)  The Glory of the one and only Son,

d)  Who came from the Father,

e)  Full of Grace and truth.

(This Second one reminds me that The Word Became Flesh)

PRAY: For a real understanding of Who Christ is.

------------------

Chris.

This a very wonderful Truth and Fact! The Word (Christ) became flesh and made His Dwelling among us. There are many different ideas that people have, but here is the Truth - Christ became flesh! The Bible is true and it is God's Truth! He came in such humility and yet He came from the Father, full of Grace and Truth.

Actively Loving Jesus Is Important!

 'Actively Loving Jesus Is Important.'

John 15:23.

a)  He who hates Me

b)  Hates My Father

c)  Also.

(This QT reminds me that Actively Loving Jesus Is Important)

PRAY:  To actively love Jesus.

---------------

'Acknowledge The Son.'

1 John 2:23.

a)  Whoever denies the Son,

b)  The same does not have the Father:

c)  But he who acknowledges the Son

d)  Has the Father also.

(Through this Second one I know that it is important to Acknowledge The Son)

PRAY: To Acknowledge The Son Well.

---------------

Chris.

I encourage every True Believer, especially every New Believer, to read the Word of God well. If you are not sure which version is best to read, or which version your Church reads, then please ask one of the Church Leaders for advice concerning this. Reading the Word of God for ourselves really helps us to grow well spiritually.

Inseparable!

'Inseparable.'

Romans 8:35.

a)  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

b)  Shall:

1-Tribulation.

2-Distress.

3-Persecution.

4-Famine.

5-Nakedness.

6-Danger.

7-Sword.

(This QT makes me understand that I cannot be separated from the love of Christ)

PRAY: To experience by Faith this Inseparable love.

--------------

'Words Of Blessing.'

2 Corinthians 13:14.

a)  May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,

b)  And the Love of God,

c)  And the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit

d)  Be with you all.

(Through this Second one I both find and share Words Of Blessing)

PRAY: to be a person who shares Words Of Blessing.

--------------

Chris.

A personal study of 2 Corinthians would be a very beneficial study for every True Believer. It is probably correct to say that, if we really love the Lord then we will also love His Word! The way in which way get the greatest exposure to the Lord and to Him speaking to us is through His Word. Personal study of the Bible is always helpful.

Christ Came After John!

'Christ Came After John.'

John 1:27.

a)  He is the One

b)  Who comes after me,

c)  The straps of whose sandals

d)  I am not worthy to untie.

(This QT reminds me that Christ Came After John)

PRAY: To understand how amazingly wonderful Christ is!

-------------

'Immanuel.'

Matthew 1:23.

a)  "Behold,

b)  The virgin shall be with child,

c)  And bear a Son,

d)  And they shall call His Name Immanuel,"

e)  Which is translated: "God With Us."

(This Second one reminds me of Christ - Immanuel)

PRAY: To know Immanuel in a real way.

-------------

Chris.

From His Birth right through until His Ascension, the Life of Christ is like an ongoing miracle. Faith, we are told, comes as we receive the Word of God for ourselves. Wherever we turn to in the Word of God we can find Words that Teach us, Inspire us, and make us holy! Let us frequently and regularly receive God's Word for ourselves!

No More Excuse!

 'No More Excuse.'

John 15:22.

a)  If I had not come and spoken to them,

b)  They would have no sin,

c)  But now

d)  They have no excuse for their sin.

PRAY: Not to make excuses for sin.

-----------

'Receive Rest From The Lord.'

Matthew 11:28-29.

a)  Come to Me

b)  All you who are weary and burdened,

c)  And I will give you rest.

d)  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me,

e)  For I am gentle and humble in heart,

f)  And you will find rest for your souls.

(Through this Second one I know that we can Receive Rest From The Lord)

PRAY: Coming to the Lord.

-----------

Chris.

The invitation from the Lord to us is simple and clear! He says: "Come to Me". This should be the first step and major focus of our Prayer Life, coming to the Lord. We first come as His guest, not demanding or assuming anything, but in simple humility. He remains both gentle and humble in heart. When we find this rest for our souls, then we can pray effectively.

Christ Makes Intercession For Us!

 'Christ Makes Intercession For Us.'

Romans 8:34.

a)  Who is to condemn?

b)  Christ Jesus is the One Who died.

c)  More than that -

d)  Who was raised

e)  Who is at the Right Hand of God

f)  Who indeed is interceding for us.

(This QT reminds me that Christ Makes Intercession For Us)

PRAY: Thanking the Lord for His Intercession.

---------

'Peace, Victory And Grace.'

Romans 16:20.

a)  And the God of Peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.

b)  The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ

c)  Be with you.

(This Second one is a Blessing of Victory)

PRAY: For Peace, Victory And Grace to be a part of our daily lives.

---------

Chris.

Peace, Victory and Grace are all amazing Gifts from the amazing Grace of our Lord! These are things that He really desires for us. The World system would try to rob us and prevent us from receiving them but God is Faithful, and every True Believer can enjoy Peace, Victory and Grace. We should come to God in Prayer, then we can experience His Peace, Victory and Grace.

Do We Know Him?

 'Do We Know Him?'

John 1:26.

a)  "I baptize with water,"

b)  John replied,

c)  "But among you stands One

d)  "You do not know."

(This QT gives me the question: Do We Know Him?)

PRAY: To know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior if you do not already know Him.

--------

'Making Disciples.'

Matthew 28:19-20.

a)  "Go therefore and make Disciples of all the Nations,

b)  "Baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

c)  "Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you;

d)  "And lo,

e)  "I am with you always,

f)  "Even to the end of the age.

(This Second one reminds me of the importance of Making Disciples)

PRAY:  To read and wisely apply Matthew 28:19-20 to our lives.

--------

Chris.

Here is a Disciple making basic for every Church, Mission and Ministry: We should Teach them to observe all that the Lord commands us. If we follow this pattern as Churches, Missions and Ministries then we shall not fail. The problems come in when we begin to teach other things!

Because They Do Not Know The One Who Sent Me!

'Because They Do Not Know The One Who Sent Me.'

John 15:21.

a)  But they will do all these things to you

b)  On account of My Name,

c)  Because they do not know the One Who sent Me.

(This QT shows me what happened Because They Do Not Know The One Who Sent Me)

PRAY: To know Father God through His Son Jesus Christ.

-------

'Sleep Can Distort The Reality.'

Luke 9:32.

a)  But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep:

b)  And when they were awake,

c)  They saw His Glory,

d)  And the two men who stood with Him.

(Through this Second one I know that Sleep Can Distort The Reality)

PRAY: To be alert in our waking hours.

-------

Chris.

Luke's Gospel clearly reveals to us what Jesus and His Disciples were doing. There is a great lesson for the modern Church here. It was not, in the Gospels, merely what Jesus and His Disciples were saying. What is recorded for us is what they did and said. Modern Disciples of Jesus Christ can really learn from the Gospels!

It Is God That Justifies!

'It Is God That Justifies.'

Romans 8:33.

a)  Who shall bring a charge

b)  Against God's elect?

c)  It is God

d)  Who justifies.

(This QT teaches me that God That Justifies)

PRAY: To live a life that is pleasing to God.

------

'In View Of God's Mercy.'

Romans 12:1.

a)  Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters,

b)  In view of God's Mercy,

c)  To offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,

d)  Holy and pleasing to God -

e)  This is your true and proper Worship.

(This Second one is about living In View Of God's Mercy)

PRAY:  In view of God's Mercy.

------

Chris.

The True Believer lives In View Of God's Mercy. This means continual and real response to God in their daily life. When we are in view of something, it mean we can see it and act accordingly. Our response to God here should be the offering to God of our body as a living sacrifice.

Pharisees Always Question And Doubt!

 ‘Pharisees Always Question And Doubt.’

John 1:24-25.

a)  Now those who were sent were from the Pharisees.

c)  “Why then do you baptise if you are not the Christ?

d)  “Nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”

h)  Matthew 22:41. Luke 9:18. Jesus.

i)  Luke 3:14. The soldiers.

j)  Luke 18:36. The blind man.

(Through this Second one I find that asking questions is acceptable)

PRAY: Asking Jesus.

——-

Chris.

Never be afraid to ask questions if we need to! This is something that should be taught in schools by the mature teacher. Whatever kind of school it is, there should always be a place for student’s questions! A major part of students’ learning is achieved by asking questions! As adults, we may also want to ask questions. This may help both us and others too!

Things To Remember!

'Things To Remember.'

John 15:20.

a)  "Remember what I told you:

b)  "A servant is not greater than his master."

c)  "If they persecuted Me,

d)  "They will persecute you also.

e)  "If they obeyed My Teaching,

f)  "They will obey yours also."

(This QT teaches me some Things To Remember)

PRAY: To read the Bible with good understanding.

----

'Beth Aven.'

('The House of Nothingness.')

Joshua 7:2.

a)  Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai,

b)  Which is near Beth Aven, to the east of Bethel,

c)  And told them:

d)  "Go up, and spy out the region."

e)  So them men went up and spied out Ai.

(This Second one calls me to Pray for the Churches not to be Beth Aven)

PRAY: For our local Church not to be a Beth Aven.

----

Chris.

They are nearby to each other, Beth Aven and Bethel! Bethel is the House of God and Beth Aven is the House of nothingness. May our Churches truly be "Bethel" Churches - Houses of God! If God's Servants are sent out from Bethel, they will surely produce good fruit and be able to raise up many new Believers and Churches!

It Is All Because Of Jesus Christ!

'It Is All Because Of Jesus Christ.'

Romans 8:32.

a)  He Who did not spare His Own Son,

b)  But delivered Him up for us all,

c)  How shell He not with Him

d)  Also freely give us all things?

(This QT teaches me that It Is All Because Of Jesus Christ)

PRAY: Thank God for His Son - Jesus Christ.

---

'Truly Jesus Christ Took Our Place.'

2 Corinthians 5:21.

a)  For He hath made Him

b)  To be sin for us,

c)  Who knew no sin,

d)  That we might be made

e)  The righteousness  of God in Him.

(Through this Second One I know that Truly Jesus Christ Took My Place)

PRAY: Thanking Jesus Christ for going to the Cross for us.

---

Chris.

It all comes from our Father God and what He has done for us! This is one of the reasons that we are exhorted to give thanks to Him! He is the One Who sent His Own Son to be our Saviour! Let us be grateful and give our thanks and Praises to Him. Our personal relationship with God is the "key" to all of our Christian Life and Ministry!

Get The Road Ready!

'Get The Road Ready.'

John 1:23.

a)  John answered in the Words of the Prophet Isaiah:

b)  "I am only someone shouting in the desert,

c)  "Get the road ready for the Lord."

(This QT encourages me to Get The Road Ready)

PRAY: To be able to do the Will of God - just as  John did!

-------------------------

'Preparing The Way.'

John 3:28.

a)  "You yourselves know how plainly I told you: 'I am not the Messiah.

b)  " 'I am only here

c)  " 'To prepare the Way for Him."

(This Second one reminds me that there is a Ministry of Preparing The Way)

PRAY: To be sensitive to the Lord in our Ministries.

-------------------------

Chris.

The Gospel of John is the first book that any aspiring Gospel Preacher should read. Of course, eventually the entire Bible should be read but the Gospel is presented clearly through the Book of John. The Gospel Preacher needs to have a clear intention to present the Gospel with clarity to the non-believer, preparing the Way for the Lord's Work and Will.

No Longer A Part Of The World System!

'No Longer A Part Of The World System.'

John 15:19.

a)  The world would love you as one of its own

b)  If you belonged to it,

c)  But you are no longer part of the World.

d)  I chose you to come out of the World,

e)  So it hates you.

(This QT affirms to me that I am No Longer A Part Of The World System)

PRAY: To stop living in a World System way.

-----------------------

'Times When Discretion Is Needed.'

Matthew 16:20.

a)  Then Jesus commanded His Disciples

b)  That they should tell no one

c)  That He was Jesus the Christ.

(Through this Second one I know that there are Times When Discretion Is Needed)

PRAY: To be Discreet when Discretion is needed.

-----------------------

Chris.

Here, again, is an amazing verse from Matthew's Gospel! One would have thought that Jesus would want everyone to know that He was the Christ. However Jesus commanded His Disciples to tell no one! As noted above, when we share the Gospel, we need to be sensitive to the people around us and their needs!

If God Is For Us!

 'If God Is For Us!'

Romans 8:31.

a)  What then shall we say to these things?

'We Are Not To Put God To The Test.'

c)  " 'You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.' "

(This Second one reminds me that We Are Not To Put God To The Test)

PRAY: Not to put God to the test.

---------------------

Chris.

We are still in Matthew's Gospel which has clear instructions for us! As we read this part today, we need to have a vehement desire not to put God to the test. Application of the Gospels to our lives is something every True Believer needs to endeavor to do! Let us take the Word of God and apply it to our lives where that is meant to be.

John's Reply To "Who Are You?"

''Who Are You?"

John 1:22.

a)  "Then who are you?

b)  "We need an answer for those who sent us.

c)  "What do you have to say about yourself?"

(Here is a common question in the Churches today: Who Are You?)

PRAY: For honesty and openness in the Churches today.

-----------------

'Learn And Report.'

Proverbs 22:21.

a)  In order to teach you

b)  True and reliable words.

c)  So that you may give a dependable report

d)  To those who sent you.

(This Second one teaches us to Learn And Report)

PRAY: To Learn And Report Well.

----------------

Chris.

We need to pray for and practice Good Teaching. Good Teaching partially consists of true and reliable words. The Church that has Good Teaching will be at a high level of Faith. So please Pray for those who Teach God's Word in our Churches. The Church that is equipped in God's Word will have an effective testimony!

Hated By The World System!

 'Hated By The World System.'

John 15:18.

a)  "If the World hates you,

PRAY: For people under the World System to be Saved.

--------------

'For The Poor (Humble) In Spirit.'

Matthew 5:3.

a)  "Blessed are the poor in spirit,

b)  "For theirs

c)  "Is the Kingdom of Heaven."

(This Second one reveals the Blessing For The Poor In Spirit)

PRAY: To be Poor In Spirit.

--------------

Chris.

Here, in Matthew's Gospel, we read the Words of Christ about those people who are Poor In Spirit. The first thing that He mentions is about their Blessing. It is a Blessed Life to live if we live as one who is Poor in Spirit! The Second thing that He mentions is about the sure Promise of the Kingdom of Heaven.

From Predestination To Glorification!

 'From Predestination To Glorification.'

Romans 8:30.

a)  Moreover whom He predestined,

b)  These He also called;

c)  Whom He called,

d)  These He also Justified;

e)  And whom He Justified,

f)  These He also Glorified.

(This QT teaches me From Predestination To Glorification)

PRAY: To respond well to God's Calling.

-------------

'Conformed To The Image Of God's Son.'

Romans 8:29.

a)  For whom He foreknew,

b)  He also predestined to be conformed to the Image of His Son,

c)  That He might be the Firstborn

d)  Among many brethren.

(Through this Second one I desire to be Confirmed To The Image Of God's Son)

PRAY: To be Conformed To The Image Of God's Son.

-------------

Chris.

Foreknowledge is one of the unique attributes of God. I do totally trust God in this area of my life even though I do not know all that I could know yet! God also fully knows the Plans and Purposes that He has for our lives, even before we were born! One thing that I am sure of though, is that God has predestined His children to be conformed to the Image of His Son!
