The kind of Peace that the Lord gives to us is Perfect Peace. Every True Believer can have this Peace. "My Peace I give to you." This is the Promise from the Lord Jesus Christ. Sometimes we needlessly struggle because we do not ask the Lord for His Peace! If we have this Peace, we can live an overcoming life as a True Believer.  

Not A Word Failed!

Joshua 21:45.

We can learn so much about humanity as we read through the Book of Job. It is good for every True Believer to make a study project of Job. Job helps us to keep a good balance betweeen humanity and the Divine. Surely, until this day, the Lord speaks to His Children personally as well as in the Assembly. Let us enjoy Job, then Psalms and Proverbs. 

The Other Judas!

John 14:22.

a)  Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but the other disciple with that name),

b)  Said to Him:

c)  "Lord, why are You only going to reveal Yourself to us

(This QT reveals to me that The Other Judas was a Disciple who really wanted to learn from the Lord)

PRAY: To be like The Other Judas and really learn from the Lord.

Jesus had been teaching about "The Bread of Life." This teaching had been completely misunderstood by the people. This kind of misunderstanding still sometimes takes place today! God has givne us His Word to help us to understand. self-study of the Bible can be very helpful! There should be no excuses for the True Believer not to grow in the Lord. If we really love the Lord, then we will also love His Word.

The Gospel Of Peace!

One of the important factors in our lives is the "now" factor! There are important things that have happened to our lives in the past, especially if we are True Believers, but we should always be mindful of the present. Although Christianity has a vivid and colorful past, we should not be "caught up" in that past! We ned to live in the present and have Faith for the future!

Nature!

a)  1 Corinthians 11:14. Teaches us.

b)  Galatians 2:15. Can reveal our ethnicity. 

c)  Galatians 4:8. Can reveal our ungodliness.

d)  Ephesians 2:3. Some people are by nature children of wrath. 

e)  2 Peter 1:4. We can be partakers of the Divine Nature.

PRAY: To have a good Nature.

Chris.

God is not asking us not to have human relationships. That would be totally opposite to His plans and Purposes! What God wants us to have are Good Relationships. During my travels to different places I have found that there are many lonely Believers out there. Maybe the Churches do not do enough to help their lonely people? Churches are meant to be "relationship centres". Firstly, relationship with God, secondly, relationships with others in the Church. 

Do We Really Love God?

 'Do We Really Love God?'

John 14:21.

a)  Whoever has My Commandments and keeps them,

b)  He it is who loves Me,

c)  And He who loves Me will be loved by My Father

d)  And I Will love him and manifest Myself to him.

(This QT asks the challenging question: Do We Really Love God?)

PRAY:To be a real lover of God.

PRAY: For the Church to be friendship orientated; friendship with the Lord and with each other.

The servants do not know what the Master is doing. This is always the case unless the Master tells them. The Lord is our Master and there are no "God experts" who can tell what He is doing when everyone else does not know! We are all God's Children and He is our Master. We all need to be attentive to Him! 

All Humanity Can Be Reconciled To God!

We hear very little teaching about Longsuffering in these days. This surprises me because there are so many people who are living longsuffering lives. Instead of Biblical Compassion, we live in days of "grin and bear it!" It really is time for the Church to teach more about "Longsuffering" and "Compassion." This kind of Ministry is not just to be accomplished by the few, it is for the whole Church.

Real Fruitfulness!

 Romans 6:22.

c)  And having become slaves of God,

d)  You have your fruit to holiness,

One of the missions of the Church is to help people to be free from bondage. This means that correct teaching of the Word of God is important, intercession ministry is important and encouragement  to Prayer and Personal Bible Study is also important! According to the Holy Bible, it is possible for people to be free from bondage if they follow God's way.

Surely we should search the Scriptures to discover what pleases thr Father and eo focus our thoughts and lives on those things. There will be many opportunities in life to please Him! Let us make the most of them! When we are pleaseing to the Father then the fragrance of the Lord will be more evident in our lives.

Christ is our Peace maker. This is clear both from Scripture and experience! When we need Peace personally, we come to Christ. Whenever we need Peace in our family, we come to Christ. When we need Peace in our Church or Ministry Team, we also come to Christ. Really, Christ is our Peace. He can break down every wall.

They Cried Out

I love to read Mark's Gospel. It is simple to understand and contains many Truths that are easily expounded from its contents. I remember that we were taught years ago to begin our Bible Reading with Mark's Gospel and then progress from there. It was good advice and it still stands today.

 

We Will See Jesus!

John 14:19.

b)  "And the World will see Me no more,

PRAY: To have the confidence that you will be ready yo meet Jesus Christ face-to-face.

Now we are living in the age of Faith. This is what Jesus meant when He said that the World would see Him no more. As True Believers, we know that, one day, we will see Jesus "Face-to-face" and the we will be with Him forever. The Gospel is not only about the forgiveness of our sins, it is also about the Gift of Eternal Life.

There is no excuse or exclusion here. It is for every tree that does not bear good fruit. This teaching from our Lord Jesus Christ should give us the desire to be a good and fruitful tree for His Glory. It does not matter how old or young we may be, if we can understand this simple teaching of our Lord we should have the desire to bear good fruit for Him. 

Philip's Faulty Faith!

When Jesus decided to go ... He went! This was not something especially "spiritual", Jesus was always filled with the Holy Spirit. If we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we do not need to make a "fuss" about things, we just do them. This is a great lesson for us. There are many Biblical exhortations to us about livig and walking in the Holy Spirit ... let us just simply respond to them. 

I Will Not ... I Will!

c)  I will come to you.

(This QT reveals to me the "I will not" and "I will" of Jesus Christ.

PRAY: For Jesus to come to you at specific times when you need Him.

Chris. 

A part of the calling from God to the Church is to comfort those who are in any affliction. The reality is that there are so many afflicted people in the World and that most political systems tend to neglect them. It is necessary for the Churches to pray for the afflicted people and to serve them in appropriate ways. This would surely be pleasing to the Lord. 

Brought Near By The Blood Of Christ!

Ephesians 2:13.

a)  But now in Christ Jesus

(Through this QT I am Blessed by the fact that I have been Brought Near By The Blood Of Christ)

We always  need to be attentive to the Words of Jesus. His Words are always True and can be trusted. We should never "twist" the Words of Jesus as some do, for their own financial benefit, because the Words of Jesus are very pure and beyond corruption! The Words of Jesus, as recorded in the Scripture, can always be trusted.

It Does Us Good To Remember!

a)  Remember that, at that time, you were separate from Christ.

b)  Excluded from the common wealth of Israel,

c)  And strangers to the Covenants of Promise.

PRAY: For those people who are Without God In The World to come to Him.

a)  i Timothy 3:16. Christ appeared in the flesh. 

b)  Ephesians 2:11. There are Gentiles in the flesh. 

c)  Ephesians 2:15. Christ set aside the Law in His Flesh. 

d)  Ephesians 2:3. The passions of the flesh were what we used to live in before we knew Christ. 

e)  1 Peter 4:1. Christ suffered in the flesh.

f)  Romans 7:5. We formerly lived in the realm of the flesh. 

g)  Galatians 2:20. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by Faith in the Son of God Who loved me and gave Himself for me.

PRAY: For Grace and Strength to submit our flesh life to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

Every time that we take Holy Communion we remember that Christ suffered in the flesh for us. The bread or biscuit is just a symbol, our mind goes to Christ. The wine reminds us of His shed Blood. this is all because of the amazing Love of God for us. We need to surrender all of our "rights and wrongs" to God and trust in His Amazing Love. 

The Spirit Of Truth!

a)  The Spirit of Truth,

b)  Whom the World cannot eceive,

c)  because it neither sees Him or knows Him.

Chris. 

A part of the Holy Spirit's help for us is that He helps us in our weakness. It is natural and quite normal for us to have weaknesses in certain ways. Another of the reasons that we receive the Holy Spirit is to comfort us and give us assurance. There are times that we do not know what to pray for, at such times the Holy Spirit will help us. 

There are Times That We Need To Remember!

Ephesians 2:12. 

a)  Remember that, at that time, you were separated from Christ,

b)  Alienated from the Commonwealth of Israel

c)  And strangers to the Covenants of Promise,

d)  Having no hope

(This QT reminds me that There Are Times That We Need To Remember)

PRAY: Not to be without God in the World.

e)  They have forsaken the Lord,

(This Second one shows me that They Need To Come Back To God)

PRAY: For God's People to come back to Him.

Chris. 

One of the saddest and most shameful things is when Children Deal Corruptly. Dealing corruptly is not natural to a child, it is something that the child learns from another. This happens because, generally speaking, the World is corrupt. Parents, schools and religious organisations need to teach children that dealing corruptly is wrong. If they do this, it will go a long way towards solving the problem.

Religious Discrimination!

Ephesians 2:11.

b)  Remember that you were Gentiles in the flesh - 

c)  Called "The Uncircumcised" 

d)  By those called "The Circumcised,"

e)  Which is done in the flesh

(This QT reminds me that Religious Discrimination has been around since Bible Days)

PRAY: For Religious Discrimination to be washed out of our Nations and Churches.

PRAY: To listen well to the Lord.

We are exhorted here to "Listen To The Lord"! This is actually a normally neglected part of daily Faith Life. We listen only to all kinds of people, but we neglect to Listen To The Lord. This is a mistake. Revivals cease when God's people stop listening to Him. The Lord is always right, people are not always right. As individuals, families, small groups, Churches and ministries of different forms, let us learn to Listen to the Lord. 

Another Helper!

John 14:16.

n)  "And He will give you another Helper,

c)  "So tht He may be with you forever."

(This QT reminds me that I need the Holy Spirit - Another Helper)

PRAY: To be filled by Another Helper.

Chris,

Many good things can happen when True Believers gather together! Here, those people who gathered together received the Promise of the Father - The Holy Spirit! We are instructed in the Scriptures not to forsake the gathering of ourselves together as True Believers. Then we can also enjoy fellowship meals as in the picture. 

 

Salvation Is Not A Result Of Works!

(This QT reminds me that Salvation Is Not A Result Of Works)

PRAY: That our Churches will fully understand that Salvation Is Not A Result Of Works.

For those of us who are seeking a new way of life, or a new way to live, it is very useful to turn to God's Word daily and apply it to our lives. God's Word is complete and lacks nothing. If we understand God's Word we will be living s far better life than the non-Believers around us because we will have confidence that God is with us.

PRAY: For our Faith to be worked through Love.

We are sharers together in God's Promises. Sometimes we tend to be rather selfish about the Promises of God! I believe tht selfishness robs us of these wonderful Promises. We read about being "sharers together", this means that when one member is Blessed, all other members are Blessed too" We should not focus on the Promises but, rather, we focus on the One Who keeps His Promises. 

It Is The Normal Response If We Love The Lord!

We need to differentiate between the times when Apostle Paul is writing to Churches and when he is writing to individuals. When we do this, it will help us to understand the Bible more clearly. Good teaching makes the Bible more clear to us. We should pray for those people who teach the Bible in our Churches. 

Harsh And Perverted Leader!

'A Harsh And Perverted Leader.'

Exodus 5:5.

c)  "The people of the land are many now,

d)  "And you make them rest from their labour!"

PRAY: That our Nations and Churches be free from Harsh And Perverted Leaders.

(Through this Second one I clearly understand the Psalmists cry: "How Long?")

This is a good time to pray for anyone whom we may know that is praying this Prayer: "How Long?" To carry sorrow in one's heart daily is a most painful and weakening experience! The pure compassion of the Church is one of her most important functions at this time. This compassion is more important than any other 'people-focused' part of the Church. Pure compassion also feeds the hungry people, the picture is a good example of this. 

 

We Cannot Boast!

'We Cannot Boast.'

Ephesians 2:9.

a)  Salvation is

b)  Not by works,

c)  So that no one can boast. 

(This QT teaches me that We Cannot Boast about Salvation)

PRAY: To give thanks to God for Salvation.

a)  He has Saved us and called us to a holy life - 

b)  Not because of anything we have done,

c)  But because of His Own purpose and Grace.

d)  This Grace was given us in Christ Jesus

PRAY: Thanking God for Amazing Grace.

Really it is not because of anything that we have done that we can say today that we are "saved"! We are Saved because of what Jesus Christ has done for us. our response should be Thanksgiving to God, Worship and Praise. When we 'lose sight' of what Christ has done for us we begin to live a faithless and meaningless life. We need to come back to God if necessary and follow Him.  

Ask In The Name Of Jesus!

John 14:14. 

a)  If you ask Me

b)  Anything in My Name,

c)  I will do it.

(This QT encourages me to Ask In The Name Of Jesus)

PRAY: Asking in the Name of Jesus.

'We Need The Helper.'

John 15:26. 

a)  But when the Helper comes,

b)  Whom I will send to you 

c)  From the Father,

d)  The Spirit of Truth,

e)  Who proceeds from the Father,

f)  He  will bear witness about Me.

(This Second one reminds me that I Need The Helper)

PRAY: For the Helper to be with you.

When the Helper comes into our life, He is sent in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He comes from Father God. He is the Spirit of Truth, there is no deception in Him at all! We cannot be filled with the Holy Spirit and be in deception at the same time! This reminds me of my need of God! A-God the Father. B-God the Son (The Lord Jesus Christ). C-God the Holy Spirit. 

A Ruthless And Fearful Leader!

 'A Ruthless And Fearful Leader.'

Exodus 5:4. 

a)  And the King of Egypt said to them:

b)  "Moses and Aaron, why do you take the people away from their work?

c)  "Get back to your burdens."

(This QT reveals to me A Ruthless And Fearful Leader)

PRAY:: To have leaders that are not Ruthless And Fearful.

''Burdens.'

a)  Exodus 2:11. Moses looked at the burdens his brethren were carrying. 

b)  Exodus 6:6&7. The Lord brings us out from under burdens. 

c)  Numbers 4:47. Bearing burdens are an acceptable part  of God's Work.

d)  Deuteronomy 1:12. Bearing burdens should never be done alone.

e)  Isaiah 58:6. God wants our heavy burdens to be undone. 

f)  Luke 11:46. We should not put heavy burdens upon other people. 

g)  Galatians 6:2. Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the Law of Christ. 

(This Second one gives me an understanding about Burdens)

PRAY: To be free from Burdens.

Bearing burdens should never be done alone! This is a part of the inheritance of God's People. All of us face burdening situations from time to time, a part of life in the Body of Christ is that we are supposed to "bear one another's burdens".The Church needs to be just as enthusiastic about bearing one another's burdens as they are about other activities. 

By Grace You Have Been Saved!

Ephesians 2:8.

a)  For by Grace you have been Saved

b)  Through Faith,

c)  And that not of yourselves,

d)  It is the Gift of God.

(This QT reminds me that By Grace I Have Been Saved)

PRAY: To have Assurance of Salvation.

b)  Romans 6:23. Is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

d)  2 Timothy 1:6. Can be imparted by the laying on of hands. 

(This Second one makes me grateful for The Gift Of God)

Every person should enjoy the good of their labor. Slavery is something that needs to be challenged and confronted with justice wherever it may be found. There should be no room for any form of slavery today. This message needs to go out from the Church into the whole of society... No room for any form of slavery today.

h)  Deuteronomy 13:18. Listen to the Lord and obey Him. 

i)  Deuteronomy 15:5, Should be observed with care.

Commandments should be delivered with care. Whatever kind of Commandments they are@ God's, Churches, Gamily, Work place or any other relevant environment, they should be delivered with care. It is never right for authority figures to wound other people. They should treat their God-given authority for what it is - a Gift from God!

 

A Harsh King!

The Church needs to be caring and bold enough to find the answers about its Bad Leaders! Some of them simply need to be out of leadership for a while. Some of them need to be retrained in a good leadership discipling environment and some of them simply ned to realise that the Gidt of Leadership is not really theirs. may God give good, responsible and caring Leaders for His Church.

a)  Ephesians 2:7. God reveals His Grace and Kindness to us.

b)  Philippians 4:7. God keeps our hearts and minds. 

c)  Acts 15:11. By Grace we shall be Saved.

f)  Romans 6:11, We are alive to God.

It is only really safe boasting when we are boasting in the Lord. In these days there are all kinds of boasting, some of them meaningless and some of them sinful. We are called, as True Beievers, to boast in the Lord. We are to exalt Him and Glorify Him with our lives. He is always Worthy to be Praised.

John 14:12, 

a)  "Most assuredly,

c)  "He who believes in Me

d)  "Will do the same things that I do.

e)  "Those who believe will do even greater things than these,

(This QT reminds me to be Doing God's Works)

PRAY: To be doing what God wants you to do.

!An Eternal Place Prepared For The Believer.'

John 14:2.

a)  "My Father's House has many rooms;

c)  "Would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?"

(Through this Second one I know that there is An Eternal Place Prepared For The Believer)

PRAY: For the assurance of Eternal Life.

Reading John's Gospel also gives us confidence of having Eternal Life if we are a True Believer. The Way of the Gospel and the Truth of the Gospel are both very clear. The tragedy is that some manipulative "servants of god" are tricking and deceiving people away from the simplicity of the Gospel in an effort to fill their own pockets and make their own fame. We should not be afraid of exposing such people within the True Church, thus protecting it. 

An Important Request!

'An Important Request!'

Exodus 5:3. 

a)  Then they said:

b)  "The God of the Hebrews has revealed Himself to us:

c)  "Let us go a three days' journey into the wilderness

d)  "To sacrifice to the Lord our God,

e)  "Or He will fall upon us with pestilence and sword,"

(This QT reveals An Important Request)

PRAY: For Faith to make Important Requests when we have to.

'Just Take Enough!'

Exodus 16:4.

a)  Then the Lord said to Moses:

b)  "I am going to rain bread from Heaven for you,

c)  "And each day the people will go out and gather enough for that day.

d)  "In that way I will test them,

e)  "Whether they will follow My Instruction or not."

(Through this Second one I am reminded to Just Take Enough)

THANK GOD: For His daily provision for us.

This was a Promise of supernatural provision for Moses and God's People! The Lord was going to rain bread from Heaven for them. Truly Amazing! Along with this Promise was a test. This test was a test of their obedience to God. These kind of tests still occur today. God still tests His People's obedience. We are called to walk with the Lord and to obey Him. If we focus on Obedience to God we are safe.
