'God Does Wonderous Things.'

'God Does Wondrous Things.'

a) Psalm 72:18. They are His Work and His Alone.

b) Exodus 7:3. He can multiply them.

c) Deuteronomy 4:34; 7:19. For His People.

d) Deuteronomy 6:22; Acts 2:19. They are visible to the human eye.

e) Genesis 1:14. God Created Light as a sign of His Care for His People.

f) Exodus 12:13. He Gives Mercy in response to the Holy Sacrifice of Blood; the Sacrifice of the Blood of Jesus Christ is the most holy.

g) Isaiah 7:11. We can even ask God to do them, especially to help us believe His Promise.

h) Psalm 65:8; Acts 2:43. To give people the Fear of the Lord.

i) Acts 4:30. He does them through the Authority and by the Power of the Name of Jesus.

j) Acts 15:12; 14:3; 2 Corinthians 12:12. God sometimes performs them through His Servants. We, as Servants of God, cannot make this happen; PLEASE do not try; it is purely, simply and only God's Initiative.

k) Romans 15:19; Mark 16:15-20. Accompanying the Proclamation of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. God Performs them, not those proclaiming. God will not be manipulated by anyone into doing something. We cannot create an environment to make God do something.

l) Luke 23:8. Not for entertainment. There should never be a healing, revival or gospel meeting "show".

m) Acts 4:22. To Give physical healing.

n) John 2:11. To manifest His Glory and cause Disciples to Believe in Him.

o) Revelation 12:1 & 3. In Heaven too.

p) Acts 8:13. Sometimes amaze people.

'Faithless And Perverse.'

Matthew 17:17.

a) Faithless who?:-

i) Disciples, because of their unbelief at that time.

ii) Father, who only trusted in the familiar (Jewish cultural) environment, than trusting Jesus and bringing His Son to Him. If we stay locked inside cultural things, even though we are Christian by religion, we will remain faithless and become more bound. This is the time for faith and Biblical Internationalization.

iii) Multitude, slow to believe in Jesus.

b) Perverse Who?:-

(Not Disciples - they already were disciples of Jesus, endeavouring to follow the lifestyle of the Sermon on the Mount)

i) The people who are influenced by perverse opinions, hindering them from receiving the Truth.

ii) The people who are corrupted by the world system.

iii) The Jewish leaders and teachers of that time.

(This Meditation challenges me to be far away from being Faithless and Perverse, by God's Grace)

Chris.

Faith is essentially a part of the life of a True Believer. It is Faith that connects us with God. Faith has to be alive; it is always expressed by something. Faith and love, faith and obedience, faith and patience, faith and works; always, faith needs to be expressed through something. We live by faith, walk by faith, pray with faith, and want to share our faith with other people. The Scripture simply tells us those clear Words of Jesus Christ, who tells us to have Faith in God.
