'Eternal Life.'
1 John 5:11-13.
a) v11. God has Given us Eternal Life.
i) 1 John 2:25; Titus 1:2. It is His Promise.
ii) John 6:68. It is His Word.
iii) Romans 5:21. Grace reigns by Righteousness unto it by Jesus Christ
our Lord.
b) v11. This Eternal Life is only found in Jesus.
i) 1 John 5:20. He Gives us Understanding so we can truly have Eternal
Life.
ii) 1 John 1:2. It is manifested to us by Jesus.
iii) Colossians 3:4. When Christ, Who is our Life, shall Appear, we shall
appear with Him in Glory.
c) v12. If we have Jesus, we have Eternal Life.
i) John 3:36. It is what the Bible says.
ii) John 5:24. Simply hear the Word and Believe.
iii) Hebrews 3:14. We should hold fast our confidence.
d) v13. We know we have Eternal Life.
i) 1 John 5:10. Because we Believe in the Son of God, we have the inner
witness.
ii) Romans 8:15-17. Because we have the Holy Spirit.
iii) 2 Corinthians 5:1. Because we have a Building of God, not made with
human hands, Eternal in the Heavens.
(This Meditation causes me to ponder on Eternal Life)
