Who Has?

'Who Has...?'

Romans 11:34.

'We Impart What God Decrees!'

1 Corinthians 2:7.

 a)  But we impart

b)  A secret and hidden Wisdom of God,

c)  Which God decreed before the Ages

d)  For our Glory.

(This Second one teaches me that We Impart What God Decrees)

PRAY:  To learn well what God teaches us.

-----

Chris.

Sometimes, when we Pray we should not only ask, but we should consider. This, especially should be a part of humble Prayer in front of God! If our Prayers are correct, they go a long way to making our lives correct in front of God also! This kind of life and prayer is surely pleasing to God!

c)  In the river only.

(Through this Second one I believe that The Frogs Will Go)

PRAY: For Faith to have Spiritual Authority.

----

Chris.

We need purity and spiritual strength to live the kind of life that the Lord wants us to live! We can ask God to give us a clear and victorious life. Along with this life we have Spiritual Authority. God gives us Promises that help us to Trust Him. Let us lay down our burdens and troubles, asking Him to help us daily.

Chris.

It is a Scriptural injunction that we should Pray for the right kind of Leaders to be in our Churches. Natural obvious life-style and Spiritual Life are both important factors and evidences for a proof for Leadership. Jesus Christ Himself is a great example for Church Leaders. Imitating Christ is a stimulating motive.

(This Second one reveals A Total Change)

PRAY: To have assurance of having A Total Change of life.

------------------------

Chris.

We can all pray to know God more! There is so much more of God to know. We will surely understand more about humility and prayer also humility in prayer as we get to know Him more. Understanding God more will bering about changes in our lives. The Bible teaches us that change from glory to glory should be a part of normal Christian experience

'A Clear Picture Of The Future.'

Luke 21:24.

a)  And they will fall by the edge of the sword,

b)  And will be led captive into all the Nations;

c)  And Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Nations

d)  Until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

(This Second one is A Clear Picture Of The Future)

PRAY: For God's Mercy for His People in the future times.

---------------------------

Chris.

It is really important that God's People do not have any incorrect concept. God's Word is very clear in many ways. We should apply this Word to our lives, families and Churches! "Trust and Obey" says the old hymn, that is what we should do.

--------------------------

Chris.

God has many Amazing Plans and He wants us to understand the Plans that are for us. Usually these Plans are made alive to us as we read the Scriptures or in our prayers. This really is an encouragement to us for both Bible reading and prayers within our personal relationship with God!

----------------------

Chris.

The disobedient people can receive Mercy if they turn from their disobedience to God! This is a firmly established Truth that is a part of the Gospel. The Lord can restore any person's life if the person comes to Him. The problem is that the World is full of people who either reject God or reject the Truth of His Wordl God is always ready to forgive and restore.

We should always trust and follow Him. God does not want us to be complicated but He wants us to simply receive what His Word says!

 'A Change Around.'

Romans 11:30.

a)  At one time you Gentiles rejected God.

-------------------

'A Warning To Religious Hypocrites.'

Matthew 3:7.

a)  But when John saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them:

b)  "You brood of vipers!

c)  "Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?"

(This Second one reveals A Warning To Religious Hypocrites)

PRAY: To heed every warning that we may receive from God.

-------------------

Chris.

When our Churches hold public water baptismal services these need to be accompanied with the preaching of the Word of God. There is a deep and clear meaning of water baptism that the non-Believer needs to be able to understand.

Deliverance From Disobedience!

'Deliverance From Disobedience.'
Romans 11:30.
a)  For just as you once were disobedient to God,
b)  But now have been shown Mercy

PRAY: If necessary, for Deliverance From Disobedience.
------------------
'Three Important Ones.'

a)  One Lord,
b)  One Faith,
c)  One Baptism.
(Through this Second one I find Three Important Ones)
PRAY: Not to neglect the Three Important Ones.
------------------
Chris.
If we are given to disobedience, then we really need to be free from it. Sometimes, it is so deeply engrained in our lives that we need to come to the Lord and ask Him to deliver us from it. Surely, if we pray like that, He will deliver us!

I am sure that God really wants to give His People Amazement and Joy!

Their Word Confessed Faith!

'Their Word Confessed Faith.'

John 17:20.

a)  "I do not ask for these only,

f)  "May they also be in Us,

g)  "So that the World may Believe that You sent Me."

(Through this Second one I see The Power Of Unity)

PRAY: To understand The Triune God.

-------------------

Chris.

Reading and praying through John's Gospel will surely help us to understand more about God! God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. John helps us with the 'basics' that can lead us to know God more. It is very clear that the Lord was praying in John for True Believers not only to know Him better but also for them to be united!

God's Gift And Call!

'God's Gifts And Call.'

Romans 11:29.

a)  For God's Gifts and Call

b)  Are

c)  Irrevocable.

(This QT makes me grateful for God's Gift And Call)

PRAY:  To experience God's Gifts And Call.

------------------

'One, One And One.'

Ephesians 4:4.

a)  There is one body

b)  And one Spirit,

c)  Just as you were called to one hope

d)  When you were called.

(This Second one shows me One, One And One)

PRAY:  To be fully a part of One, One And One.

------------------

Chris.

We can Pray to experience God's Gift And Call. There are actually many Gifts of God that we can Pray for and about! As we prioritise a personal relationship with God, so our faith grows. We should remember that our life is a part of the "one" Body of Christ. Prayer and Bible Reading is an important part of our relationship with God.

A Wonderful Time Of Healing!

'A Wonderful Time Of Healing.'

Acts 8:7.

a)  For unclean spirits,

b)  Crying with loud voice,

c)   Came out of many who were possessed with them,

d)  And many who had been paralyzed and lame

e)  Were healed.

(This QT reveals A Wonderful Time Of Healing)

PRAY: For 'seasons of healing' to come to our Churches.

---------------

'Most Important Signs.'

Mark 16:17-18.

a)  And these signs shall follow them that Believe;

b)  In My Name they shall cast out devils;

c)  They shall speak with new tongues;

d)  They shall take up serpents;

e)  And if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them,

f)  They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

(Through this Second one I find Most Important Signs)

PRAY: To learn to speak with new tongues (languages).

---------------

Chris.

The wonderful Promises of God given to those people who serve Him continue here! The "signs following" Believers who are actively ministering the Gospel have not changed. It is very clear and positive - these signs shall follow them that Believe! The challenge to us is - do we Believe them? Because God's Word is clear, our Faith should be clear also.

Set Apart!

'Set Apart.'

John 17:19.

a)  And I set Myself apart

b)  On their behalf,

c)  So that they too

d)  May be truly set apart.

(This QT gives me the understanding of what it means for the Believer to be truly Set Apart)

d)  Who are zealous for good works.

(Through this Second one I find The Reason That Christ Gave Himself For Us)

PRAY: To live out our lives as A People For Christ's Own Possession.

---------------

Chris.

We should never lose sight of the fact that Christ Gave Himself For Us! This should give us the desire to live a life that is zealous for good works. Yes, Worship is important but Good Works are also important and we should not forget to do them! Simply preparing a meal of fish for others can be a good work.

Enemies Yet Friends!

 'Enemies Yet Friends.'

Romans 11:28.

a)  Many of the people of Israel are now enemies of the Good News,

--------------

'The Widows And Elijah.'

Luke 4:25.

a)  Listen to me:

b)  It is true that there were many widows in Israel

c)  During the time of Elijah,

d)  When there was no rain for three and a half years

e)  And a severe famine

f)  Spread throughout the whole land.

(This Second one helps me to understand about The Widows And Elijah)

PRAY: For Nations where there is famine.

--------------

Chris.

We need to have special compassion for the widows in the Church. This has a Biblical foundation and comes from the Heart of God! Very few Churches have ministry to widows and yet the Bible tells us not to forget them.

Eager To Hear And See!

 'Eager To Hear And See.'

Acts 8:6.

a)  The crowds paid close attention to what Peter said.

d)  By the Devil.

(Through this Second one we find A Very Unpleasant Experience For The Lord)

PRAY: For Grace and Strength to face every Unpleasant Experience)

-------------

Chris.

Praying for our own Faith and Spiritual Life is a necessary Prayer for us to Pray. Whatever we may face, we should determine to do the Will of God. We can take strength from the Lord and follow Him. He understands all experiences that we may face.

Being Sent!

'Being Sent.'

John 17:18.

a)  Just as You sent Me

b)  Into the World,

c)  I am sending them

d)  Into the World.

(This QT reminds me about the Biblical concept of Being Sent)

PRAY: To always be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

------------

'An Ongoing Message From The Lord.'

John 20:21.

a)  Again Jesus said to them:

b)  "Peace be with you.

c)  "As the Father has sent Me,

d)  "So also I am sending you."

(This Second one is An Ongoing Message From The Lord)

PRAY: To listen to and respond well to the Messages From The Lord.

------------

Chris.

It is wise to Pray to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He is our Guide and the One Who enables us to understand the Truth of God's Word. Jesus Christ, in His Teachings, emphasized the Holy Spirit and our need of Him. We should continually have this desire ... to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit! (As per the picture, this sensitivity includes all kinds of hospitality.

The Covenant Becomes Obvious!

'The Covenant Becomes Obvious.'

-----------

'When.' (Significant Times)

a)  Matthew 6:2. Giving offerings to God.

b)  Matthew 6:5; Luke 11:2. Praying.

c)  Matthew 6:16. Fasting.

d)  Matthew 10:23. Facing times of persecution.

g)  John 15:26. When the Comforter is come.

h)  1 John 2:28. When Christ shall appear.

i)  1 John 5:2. We love God and keep His Commandments.

(Through this Second one I consider "When")

PRAY: To keep our good testimony When We Are Called To A Feast.

-----------

Chris.

Jesus taught in the Bible: "When you pray" and not "if you pray"! This means that He expected His Followers to pray. When prayer is neglected, whether by Church or by individual Believer, the Gospel Testimony and Witness is weakened. Prayer has many aspects and attributes! True Believers should never give up praying.

The Person, The Place And The Message!

'The Person, The Place And The Message!'

Acts 8:5.

a)  Philip went down

b)  To the main city of Samaria.

'When The Word Of God Spreads.'

Acts 6:7.

a)  The Word of God continued to spread,

b)  The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased greatly,

c)  And a large group of priests became obedient to the Faith.

(This Second one teaches me what happens When The Word Of God Spreads)

PRAY: For the Word of God to spread in your locality.

----------

Chris.

In the context of Biblical Christianity, these three things are important: FIRSTLY: The Person. God looks for pure vessels to be His Messengers. If the vessel is not pure, then the Message cannot be pure! SECONDLY: The Place: If the Message of the Gospel is to be effective it needs to be taken to a place where it can be received well! THIRDLY: The Purity of the challenge of the Gospel Message.

a)  When anyone hears the Word of the Kingdom,

b)  And does not understand it,

c)  Then the Wicked One comes

d)  And snatches away what was sown in his heart.

e)  This is he who received seed by the wayside.

(This Second one shows to me that it is important to Help People To Understand The Word Of God)

PRAY: To Help People To Understand The Word Of God.

---------

Chris.

One of the main functions of the Church today must be to Help People To Understand The Word Of God. This is one of the reasons that God has given to the Church Bible Teachers. Every kind of Bible teacher is so necessary and important, from Sunday School to big international Seminar. Please Pray for Bible Teachers to be raised up in every stage of the life of the Church. We should be able to enjoy the Word of God as we would a good meal. (As per the picture)

a)  And when he had greeted them,

b)  He told in detail

c)  Those things which God had done

d)  Among the Gentiles

e)  Through his ministry.

(This Second one reveals A Great True Story)

PRAY: To get the details of your stories correct.

--------

Chris.

Those of us who serve the Lord through preaching and teaching should be in awe of A Great True Story. We can tell this Story in every situation that the Lord leads us into. When we tell this story it produces good fruit! A Great True story, correctly told, will always bring Glory to God.

Making Good Use Of The Circumstances!

'Making Good Use Of The Circumstances!'

d)  Except the Apostles.

(This Second one reminds me that the Early Church faced A Great Persecution)

PRAY: For the faithful and effective witness of persecuted Believers.

-------

Chris.

It is very necessary to pray that we make good use of the circumstances that we face! This kind of prayer is surely pleasing to God. What may seem to be against us can actually be for us! Let us always be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. There are countless testimonies of people who have made good use of their circumstances.

Not Belonging To The World System!

'Not Of The World.'

John 17:16.

a)  They are not of the World (system),

b)  Just as I am

c)  Not of the World (system)

(This QT reminds me that True Believers are Not Of The World)

PRAY:  To live the life of a True Believer - Not Of The World.

------

'Be Sober, Be Vigilant.'

1 Peter 5:8.

a)  Be sober, be vigilant;

b)  Because your adversary, the Devil,

c)  As a roaring lion,

d)  Walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

(This Second one exhorts me to: Be Sober, Be Vigilant)

PRAY: To Be Sober, Be Vigilant)

------

Chris.

The exhortation mainly today is to live the life of a True Believer. No matter what the environment may be, this is very necessary. We should not be living worldly (World system) lives, but we should be living lives that are given for the Glory of God. As we do this, we become a "Living Testimony". This is truly how the Lord wants us to live!

We Should Not Be Wise In Our Own Opinion!

'We Should Not Be Wise In Our Own Opinion.'

Romans 11:25.

a)  For I do not desire,

b)  Brethren,

c)  That you should be ignorant of this mystery,

d)  Lest you should be wise in your own opinion,

e)  That blindness in part has happened to Israel

f)  Until the fulness of the Gentiles has come in.

(This QT reminds me that I Should Not Be Wise In My Own Opinion)

PRAY: Not to be wise in your own opinion.

-----

'The Purest Of Intentions.'

Romans 1:13.

a)  I do not want you to be unaware,

b)  Brothers and sisters,

c)  That I often intended to come to you,

d)  And was prevented until now,

e)  So that I might have some fruit,

f)  Even among you,

g)  Just as I already have among the rest of the Gentiles.

(This Second one reveals The Purest Of Intentions)

PRAY: To be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's Will and Leading,

-----

Chris.

Romans is the first of Apostle Paul's Epistles according to the New Testament. It is good for us to study these Epistles, for in doing so we find more of God's Heart expressed through Paul. In writing these Epistles Apostle Paul seemed to be very eager for the Brothers and Sisters to know and to do the Will of God. May we have the same heart - knowing and doing God's Will.

Saul Was Trying To Destroy The Church!

'Saul Was Trying To Destroy The Church.'

Acts 8:3.

a)  But Saul was ravaging the Church,

b)  And entering house after house,

c)  He dragged off men and women

d)  And committed them to prison.

(This QT shows me that Saul Was Trying To Destroy The Church)

Chris.

We should be aware of those people who try to destroy the Church. This matter needs to be dealt with quickly and calmly by the Leadership of the Church. There will always be destructive people around but Anointed Leadership can surely deal with them and keep the Churches secure and safe.

a)  "I have other sheep, too, that are not of this sheepfold.

b)  "I must bring them also.

c)  "They will listen to My Voice,

d)  "And there will be one flock with one Shepherd."

(Through this Second one I know that there will be One Flock With One Shepherd)

PRAY: For the security of the Lord's flocks.

---

Chris.

It is a sensible Prayer to pray that we will be kept safe by the Lord. The Bible tells us that He is able to keep us. We need to commit ourselves to the Lord and to trust Him. God is good and faithful to His Promises. I do pray that the Churches in each locality will see themselves as one flock.

Consider This!

'Consider This.'

Romans 11:24.

a)  For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree,

b)  And grafted, contrary to nature,

c)  Into a cultivated olive tree,

d)  How much more will these natural branches be grafted back into their own olive tree?

(This QT causes me to Consider This)

PRAY: Considering this QT.

'It Is Really Easy To Understand.'

Matthew 12:30.

a)  Whoever is not with Me

b)  Is against Me,

c)  And whoever does not gather with Me

d)  Scatters.

(This Second one teaches me and It Is Really Easy To Understand)

PRAY: To be with the Lord and not against Him.

--------------------------

Chris.

It is a very fruitful exercise to Pray considering the Word of God. In many Churches, before prayer commences in the Prayer Meeting, there is some kind of sharing of the Word of God. This is so helpful! If the leader of the meeting conducts it in this way it is an excellent way. Through God's Word we can be guided in our prayers.

Who Was Nicodemus?

 'Who Was Nicodemus?'

John 3:1.

a)  Nicodemus was a man of the Pharisees.

b)  Nicodemus was a Jewish leader.

c)  Nicodemus was a ruler of the Jews.

(This QT answers my question: Who Was Nicodemus?)

PRAY: That our questions about Biblical matters will be answered well.

-------------------------

'The Accusers Of The Lord Were So Wrong!'

John 7:52.

a)  "You aren't from Galilee too, are you?" They replied.

b)  "Investigate.

c)  "And you will see that no prophet arises from Galilee."

(Through this Second one I find that The Accusers Of The Lord Were So Wrong)

PRAY: To reject all accusations about the Lord.

------------------------

Chris.

If we want to know more about the Bible Characters, the first place to search is the Bible itsself. We can turn to all kinds of Bible Reference books which may be very helpful but we really need to read and know our Bible more and more. We should not follow those people who read Bible Reference books more than reading the Bible!

They Are Not Of The World!

'They Are Not Of This World.'

John 17:14.

a) "I have given them Your Word;

b) "And the World has hated them

c)  "Because they are not of the World,

d)  "Just as I am not of the World."

(This QT reminds me that True Disciples of Jesus Are Not Of This World)

PRAY: To live as a True Disciple of Jesus Christ.

-------------------

'Because They Were Hungry.'

Matthew 12:1.

a)  At that time

b)  Jesus went through the grain fields on the Sabbath.

c)  And His Disciples were hungry,

d)  And began to pluck heads of grain

e)  And to eat.

(Through this Second one I see that the Disciples of Jesus did something unusual Because They Were Hungry)

PRAY: To take necessary food and not go hungry - unless we are fasting.

--------------------

Chris.

It is very clear in the Word of God that God does not want His People to go hungry. In these days fasting is acceptable but not extreme fasting! Fasting does not make God do something! The most effective witness is a balanced life - without extremes! It is clear from the Scriptures that Jesus Christ lived a balanced life. He died a terrible death on the Cross but the life that He lives was both sacrificial and balanced.

d)  To graft them in again.

(This QT exhorts me: Do Not Persist In Unbelief)

PRAY: Not to persist in unbelief.

-----------------

'A Real King.'

Daniel 2:37.

a)  Your Majesty,

b)  You are the greatest of kings.

c)  The God of Heaven has given you:

d)  Sovereignty, power, strength and honor.

(This Second one reveals A Real King)

PRAY: For those who reign over our Nations.

-----------------

Chris.

We should be able to pray for, honor and respect those people who rule and reign over our Nations. This is both Biblical and necessary! Rulers have the gift of Sovereignty. Rulers have Power and Authority. Rulers have a unique strength that comes from God. Rulers should rule in such a way so that they are worthy to receive honor.

Jesus Knew And Jesus Knows!

 'Jesus Knew And Jesus Knows!'

John 2:25.

a)  Jesus did not need anyone to testify about man,

b)  For He knew

c)  What was in man.

(This QT reminds me that Jesus Knew And Jesus Knows)

PRAY: To trust the omniscience of Jesus.

----------------

'Happy And Healthy.'

Proverbs 15:30.

a)  The light of the eyes rejoices the heart,

b)  And a good report

c)  Makes the bones healthy.

(Through this Second one I desire to be Happy And Healthy)

PRAY: To be Happy And Healthy.

-----------------

Chris.

Something that we should always consider is that Jesus Knew and Jesus Knows. This should be a great comfort to us continually. He is omniscient! Not only does He know what is in us, He also knows the end from the beginning. We should learn to trust Him, this will be for our benefit in many different ways!

The Christian Life!
