We can Pray to experience God's Gift And Call. There are actually many Gifts of God that we can Pray for and about! As we prioritise a personal relationship with God, so our faith grows. We should remember that our life is a part of the "one" Body of Christ. Prayer and Bible Reading is an important part of our relationship with God.
