The Apostolic Christ!

'The Apostolic Christ.'

John 3:34.

a)  For He is sent by God.

b)  He speaks God's Words,

c)  For God gives Him the Spirit

d)  Without limit.

(This QT reveals to me The Apostolic Christ)

PRAY: To understand Christ more and more.

---

'God's Plan To Save The World.'

John 3:17.

a)  For God sent not His Son into the World to condemn the World;

b)  But that the World

c)  Through Him

d)  Might be Saved.

(Through this Second one I realise God's Plan To Save The World)

PRAY: That a part of God's Plan To Save The World will be seen in our Churches.

---

Chris.

God's priority is never condemnation, it is Salvation! I hear, sometimes, confused messages coming from the Churches. If people generally walk away from the Church after a Worship Service, Bible Study or Prayer Meeting feeling condemned, I suggest that there is something wrong with the Ministry of that Church.

The Testimony Of Christ!

'The Testimony Of Christ.'

John 3:33.

a)  Whoever has accepted Christ's Testimony

b)  Has certified that

c)  God is Truthful.

(This QT teaches me more about The Testimony Of Christ)

PRAY: To fully Believe and accept The Testimony Of Christ.

------------------------------

Living In The Truth!'

a)  John 8:32. The Truth brings freedom to us,

b)  John 16:13. The Holy Spirit guides us into all Truth.

c)  Zechariah 8:16; Ephesians 4:25. We are to speak the Truth to each other.

d)  2 Corinthians 6:7; Romans 9:1. Truthful speech in the Power of God.

e)  1 Corinthians 13:6. Love rejoices with the Truth.

f)  Psalm 25:5. Guide me and lead me in Your Truth.

g)  3 John 1:3. We should have faithfulness to the Truth,

(This Second one reminds me of the importance of Living In The Truth)

PRAY: For strength and honesty so that we can be Living In The Truth.

------------------------------

Chris.

Truthful speech in the Power of God should be a part of every Preacher's ministry. Sensationalism is not a substitute for Truthful speech in the Power of God! When the pure Word of God is taught properly, there is no manipulation of people, there are no false "spiritual gifts"! When the Word of God is taught properly, the Body of Christ is edified.

Men Of Prayer!

'Men Of Prayer!'

1 Timothy 2:8.

a)  I desire that in every place

b)  The men should pray,

c)  Lifting holy hands

d)  Without anger or quarreling.

(This QT urges me to pray to the Lord for more Men Of Prayer to be raised up by the Lord)

PRAY: For the Lord to raise up Men Of Prayer.

--------------------------

'Honour God's Word.'

Psalm 119:48.

a)  I will lift up my eyes

b)  Towards your Commandments,

c)  Which I love

d)  And I will meditate on Your Commandments.

(Through this Second one I desire to Honour God's Word)

PRAY: To Honour God's Word.

---------------------------

Chris.

Downcast eyes cannot find God. To find God, we need to lift up our eyes to Him! Firstly, lifting up our eyes to His Commandments. Loving God's Commandments is really one of the keys to finding God Himself! Secondly, we lift up our eyes to Him from a place of humility. Thirdly, we lift up our eyes to Him in total trust and dependence.

Pray For Us!

 'Pray For Us.'

Hebrews 13:18.

a)  Pray for us.

b)  We are sure that our consciences are clear

c)  Because we want to live honourably

d)  In every way.

(Through this QT I echo the request ... Pray For Us)

PRAY: For those people who faithfully serve in your Church.

----------------------

'Belief.'

a)  John 10:26. Depends on being the Lord's sheep.

b)  John 14:12. And do the Works of God.

c)  John 20:29. Blessed are those people who have not seen and yet they have believed.

d)  John 16:27. We believe that Jesus Christ came from God.

e)  2 Thessalonians 1:10. With Belief we anticipate the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Through this Second one I thank God for Belief)

PRAY: To have belief.

-----------------------

Chris.

To be able to Believe when we have not seen is truly a Gift from God! The Bible tells us that these people are Blessed! Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, the more exposure that we get to the Word of God, the more our Faith will grow. God is looking for True Believers!

Jesus Christ's Testimony!

 'Jesus Christ's Testimony.'

John 3:32.

s)  He testifies to what He has seen and heard,

b)  But no one accepts

c)  His Testimony,

(This QT reveals to me that Jesus Christ's Testimony was not received)

PRAY: To Have an effective Testimony. We are given the Holy Spirit to help us to Testify.

--------------------

'Everyone Was Going To Jesus,'

John 3:26.

a)  And they came to John and said to him:

b)  "Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan,

c)  "To Whom you have testified -

d)  "Behold - He is baptizing,

e)  "And all are coming to Him."

(This Second one teaches me that Everyone Was Going To Jesus)

PRAY: For Faith and Strength to come to Jesus.

--------------------

Chris.

This Second one reminds me that we should never compare ministries with each other! Everyone that has been given a Ministry Gift by the Lord has their own unique ministry. We are most unwise if we start comparing ministries with each other. We should recognize the diversity of ministries and get on with the ministry that the Lord may have given to us. PICTURE: Everything we do, we should do carefully.

Apostle Paul's Appointment!

'Apostle Paul's Appointment.'

1 Timothy 2:7.

a)  For which I was appointed a Preacher and an Apostle -

b)  I am speaking the Truth in Christ and not lying -

c)  A teacher of the Gentiles in Faith and Truth.

(This QT reveals Apostle Paul's Appointment)

PRAY: To know your appointment from God.

------------------

'The Apostolic Ministry.'

a)  Romans 1:1; Ephesians 1:1; Colossians 1:1. Is a calling from God.

b)  2 Corinthians 12:12. Has signs following the ministry.

c)  Galatians 1:1. Is given by Jesus Christ and God the Father.

d)  1 Timothy 2:7; 2 Timothy 1:11. Is a Divine Appointment.

(This Second one gives me more understanding of The Apostolic Ministry)

PRAY: For the Apostolic Ministry to thrive in your Nation.

------------------

Chris.

The Apostolic Ministry is a Calling from God, this also applies to the other Biblically nominated Ministry Gifts of Christ. For many years, the Church has generally neglected the Gifts that God has given, whether people or Holy Spirit Gifts. In these days there is somewhat of a "revival" concerning Spiritual Gifts. Along with this revival there needs to be a greater oversight of Spiritual Gifts and Pastoral care of the Church.

Obey Your Leaders!

'Obey Your Leaders.'

Hebrews 13:17.

a)  Obey your leaders and submit to them,

b)  For they are keeping watch over your souls,

c)  As those who will have to give an account.

d)  Let them do this with joy and not with groaning,

e)  For that would be of no advantage to you.

(This QT reminds me of the age-old instruction for Believers... Obey Your Leaders)

PRAY: For an obedient heart towards leaders and to be healed from any hurts you may have received from them.

----------------

'Blessings Abound,'

Ephesians 1:3.

a)  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

b)  Who has Blessed us with every spiritual Blessing

c)  In the Heavenly places

d)  In Christ,

(This Second one reminds me that Blessings Abound!)

PRAY: To be in the spiritual condition to receive Abundant Blessings.

------------------

Chris.

One of the ways in which we can Praise the Lord is by expressing these words: "Bless the Lord O my soul." In this way we are speaking to our own souls, stimulating them to a place of Worship and Praise. God delights in Blessing His Children in various ways. We should put Him first daily in our lives and submit to Him in Body, Soul and Spirit.

The One Who Comes From Above!

'The One Who Comes From Above.'

John 3:31.

a)  The One Who comes from above

b)  Is above all;

c)  The one who is of the Earth

d)  Belongs to the Earth and speaks about earthly things.

e)  The One Who is from Heave is above all.

(Through this QT I extol The One Who Comes From Above)

PRAY: To The One Who Comes From Above.

---------------

'Real Salvation.'

1 Corinthians 6:11.

a)  And this what some of you used to be.

b)  But you were washed,

c)  You were sanctified,

d)  You were justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ

e)  And in the Spirit of our God.

(This Second one explains Real Salvation)

PRAY: For the Truth of Real Salvation to be preached in the Churches.

---------------

Chris,

When Paul wrote his first Epistle to the Corinthians it was a strong letter of correction but not a condemning one! He reminded them of the fact that they had been sanctified (set apart and made holy). He also reminded them of the work of the Holy Spirit in their midst. These are reminders that we all need from time-to-time. This is Christmas Season when many Christians celebrate with a feast, as in the picture, we should remember that we are celebrating the coming of the Lord Jesus to this Earth.

A Ransom For All People!

 'A Ransom For All People.'

1 Timothy 2:6.

a)  Christ Jesus gave Himself as a Ransom for all people

b)  Which is the Testimony given

c)  At the proper time.

(This QT reminds me that Christ Jesus is A Ransom For All People)

PRAY: To know Jesus Christ personally as our Ransom.

--------------

'When The Fullness Of Time Had Come.'

Galatians 4:4.

a)  But when the Fulness of Time had come,

b)  God sent forth His Son,

c)  Born of woman,

d)  Born under the Law.

(Through this Second one I am reminded of what happened When The Fulness Of Time Had Come)

PRAY: To Believe in The Son of God - The Lord Jesus Christ.

--------------

Chris.

God always does everything at the Right Time! Sometimes, maybe we think that He is a bit too quick or too slow but it is not true. God always does everything at the right time! We can Believe on the Son of God because He sent Him at the right time. Picture: Eating some fish during Christmas may help "food overload"!

Such Sacrifices Are Pleasing To God!

'Such Sacrifices Are Pleasing To God.'

Hebrews 13:16.

a)  Do not forget to do good

b)  And to fellowship,

c)  For with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

(This QT reminds me that Such Sacrifices Are Pleasing To God)

PRAY: To make Sacrifices that are pleasing to God.

-------------

'What The Lord Requires Of Us.'

Micah 6:8.

a)  To do Justice,

b)  To love Kindness,

c)  To walk humbly with our God.

(This Second one clearly teaches me What The Lord Requires Of Me)

PRAY: For an obedient heart to do What The Lord Requires Of Us.

-------------

Chris.

Micah is one of those Old Testament Prophecies that is easier to understand. This verse, Micah 6:8, is telling us what the Lord REQUIRES of us. Too often we come to God, asking Him what we require from Him but we neglect what He requires of us! At this Christmas season of giving let us examine ourselves, asking the question: "What can I give to Him?"

Two Important Musts!

'Two Important Musts.'

John 3:30.

a)  He must increase,

b)  But

c)  I must decrease.

(This QT reveals to me Two Important Musts)

PRAY: To decrease where necessary.

------------

'The Better Life.'

Isaiah 60:20.

a)  Your sun shall no longer go down,

b)  Nor shall your moon withdraw itself,

c)  For the Lord will be your Everlasting Light,

d)  And the days of your mourning shall be ended.

(Through this Second One I find The Better Life)

PRAY: For The Better Life.

------------

Chris.

This Second one reveals to me a 'Brighter Life'! This is the kind of life that I believe every True Believer wants to live. I am convinced that, for most Believers, there is a longing in their heart for something better, a Brighter Life! This Life is found in the Lord, as we follow Him! Whatever our situation or status is, we should put the Lord first!

There Is One!

'There Is One.'

1 Timothy 2:5.

a)  For there is one God,

b)  And there is one Mediator

c)  Between God and men,

f)  The Man Christ Jesus.

(This QT reminds me that There Is One)

PRAY: To our Mediator - Christ Jesus.

----------

'Praying People.'

a)  1 Samuel 1:26. The woman, praying to the Lord.

b)  Nehemiah 1:4. Nehemiah, praying before the God of Heaven.

c)  Mark 11:25. Whenever you stand praying: forgive.

d)  Acts 9:11. Saul of Tarsus was praying,

e)  Acts 10:30. Cornelius was praying.

f)  Ephesians 6:18; Jude 1:20. Praying at all times with the Spirit.

(This Second on e teaches me about Praying People.)

PRAY: Before the God of Heaven.

-----------

Chris.

As True Believers we should remember to take time to pray. When we pray, we pray before the God of Heaven. Prayer is really a part of the basic life of the True Believer. Prayer, when we pray according to the Word of God and being empowered by the Holy Spirit, that is an excellent way to pray. During this Christmas Season enjoy the cake but we should not forget to pray.

The Sacrifice Of Praise!

'The Sacrifice Of Praise.'

Hebrews 13:15,

a)  Through Him, then,

b)  Let us continually offer up a Sacrifice of Praise to God.

c)  That is,

d)  The fruit of lips that acknowledges His Name,

(This QT reminds me to offer The Sacrifice Of Praise)

PRAY: Offering to God The Sacrifice Of Praise.

---------

'Giving Thanks Well.'

Ephesians 5:20.

a)  Giving thanks always and for everything

b)  To God the Father

c)  In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

(Through this Second one I want to be Giving Thanks Well)

PRAY: To Give Thanks Well.

---------

Chris.

The Book of Ephesians is so positive in many ways! Here, in this Second one, we are reminded about Giving Thanks to God. Both Churches and individual Believers become so spiritually "dry" when they stop Giving Thanks To God. When we read the Bible and follow the life of Apostle Paul, we can find many things that we complain about can actually be turned into Thanksgiving and Praise. It is a false "theology" that encourages people to complain rather than to Pray!

John Baptist's Joy!

 'John Baptist's Joy.'

John 3:29.

a)  He who has the bride is the bridegroom,

b)  But the friend of the bridegroom,

c)  Who stands and hears Him,

d)  Rejoices greatly because of the Bridegroom's Voice.

e)  Therefore my joy is made full.

(This QT tells me of John Baptist's Joy)

PRAY: At this Christmas Season that you can have Joy.

--------

'Unique Peace.'

John 14:27.

a)  I'm leaving you peace.

b)  I'm giving you My Peace.

c)  I don't give you the kind of peace the World gives.

d)  So don't be troubled or cowardly.

(Through this Second one I want to have Unique Peace)

PRAY: To have Unique Peace.

--------

Chris.

Jesus Christ said that He was leaving Peace for His Disciples. This is a very clear Promise! We all need the Peace of God to rule and reign in our hearts. There are many people who are seeking Peace through devious way. We should not do this. Come to God and have a good relationship with Him through Bible reading and Prayer, then we can experience His Peace. God even uses certain fruit, as in the picture, to give us peace and make us feel peaceful!

Very Necessary Prayer!

'Very Necessary Prayer.'

1 Timothy 2:1-4.

a)  1 Timothy 2:1. First of all then,

b)  I urge that for all people:

1-Supplications.

2-Prayers.

3-Intercessions.

4-And Thanksgivings.

Be made.

c)  1 Timothy 2:2. For kings and all people who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

d)  1 Timothy 2:3. This is good and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Saviour.

e)  1 Timothy 2:4. Who desires all people to be Saved and to come to the Knowledge of the Truth.

(In this QT I find A Very Necessary Prayer)

PRAY: For those people in high positions in your Nation.

-------

'Prayers.'

a)  Isaiah 1:15. Need to be made when our hands are clean in every way.

b)  Mark 12:40. Should be real and not pretended.

c)  Acts 2:42. Were a part of the life of the New Testament Church.

d)  Romans 15:30. Should be prayed for others.

e)  1 Timothy 2:1. Can be prayed for all people.

f)  1 Peter 3:7. Husbands should realise that their relationship with their wife is linked to their prayer life too.

(This Second one reminds me of the importance of Prayers)

PRAY: Real and Biblical Prayers.

-------

Chris.

It is clear from the beginning of the Book of Acts, that Prayer was very much a part of the life of the New Testament Church. This, surely, is still a pattern for our Churches to follow today! Prayer is really the "breath" of the Church. Through Prayer the Holy Spirit comes into the Church. When the Church prays, they can then see God at work in their midst. Through Prayer, the Holy Spirit's Work came into this "Walled City" area of Kowloon, pictured above.

The City Which Is To Come!

'The City Which Is To Come,'

Hebrews 13:14.

a)  For here

b)  We have no continuing city,

c)  But we seek the one to come.

(This QT reminds me of The City Which Is To Come)

PRAY: To keep a Biblical focus.

------

'Safety Is Biblical.'

Deuteronomy 22:8.

a)  When you build a new house,

b)  Make a parapet around your roof

c)  So that you may not bring the guilt of bloodshed

d)  On your house

e)  If someone falls from your roof.

(This Second one reminds me that Safety Is Biblical)

PRAY: To prioritize Safety in our environments.

------

Chris.

How lovely it is when True Believers are able to build new houses for themselves. This is indeed a Blessing from God. Firstly, our house should be somewhere where our family can enjoy a reasonable amount of privacy. Secondly, as agreed within our family, our house can be somewhere that is sometimes opened up for fellowship meetings and meals. We can also pray for God to be Glorified in all the activities within our house.

The Sent One!

'The Sent One.'

John 3:28.

a)   You yourselves are My witnesses

b)  That I said:

c)  "I am not the Messiah,

d)  "But I have been sent ahead of Him."

(This QT causes me to Rejoice in the Message of The Sent One)

PRAY: To remember to Thank God for The Sent One... he prepared the Way for the Lord!

-----

'John Spoke Clearly.'

John 1:23.

a)  John replied in the Words of Isaiah the Prophet:

b)  "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness,

c)  "Make straight the Way for the Lord."

(Through this Second one I know that John Spoke Clearly)

PRAY:  To be a person who speaks God's Truth clearly.

-----

Chris.

I thank God for the clarity of of God's Word! When John spoke, he spoke with clarity, quoting the Scriptures. This is a great lesson for us, whether it is in evangelism or in Church business meetings, we should speak clearly. Many good decisions are missed and even relationships broken because people do not speak clearly, especially concerning God's Word!

Remember The Poor!

 'Remember The Poor.'

Leviticus 19.9-10.

a)  When you reap the harvest of your land,

b)  You shall not wholly reap the corners of your field,

c)  Nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.

d)  And you shall not strip your vineyard bare,

e)  Neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard.

f)  You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner.

g)  I am the Lord your God.

(Through this QT I am enjoined to Remember The Poor)

PRAY: That you would not forget the poor, whatever kind of poverty that they may suffer.

----

'Be Kind.'

Ruth 2:16.

a)  And also pull out some from the bundles for her

b)  And leave it for her to glean,

c)  And do not rebuke her.

(This Second one encourages me to Be Kind)

PRAY: To remember to Be Kind.

----

Chris.

There are so many lovely lessons to be learned from the Book of Ruth. I am not necessarily writing about "Bible Types", rather about the real life of Ruth. The Church today has a duty to protect the vulnerable people. The Church today has a part in feeding hungry people. The Church today also has a duty to preach the Gospel.

It Is Not Nice Out There!

'It Is Not Always Nice Out There.'

Hebrews 13:13.

a)  Let us, then,

b)  Go to Him outside the camp

c)  And endure

d)  The insults He endured.

(This QT reminds me that It Is Not Always Nice Out There)

PRAY: For Grace and Strength from God when we need to go outside the camp.

---

'A Significant Change Of Direction.'

Acts 18:6.

s)  But when they resisted and blasphemed,

b)  He shook out his garments and said to them:

c)  "Your blood be on your own heads!

d)  "I am clean.

e)  "From now on I will go to the Gentiles."

(Through this Second one I can see A Significant Change Of Direction)

---

Chris.

When we read the Book of Acts, we can surely find some Truths that will help the guidance of the Local Church today! One of the lessons to learn is that we should not treat persecution like a bull, with us holding a large red cloth! There ARE times that we need to stand, but, also there are times in which we need to flee. (In some cases just keeping quiet!)

It All Comes From Heaven!

 'It All Comes From Heaven.'

John 3:27.

a)  John answered:

b)  "A person cannot receive even one thing

c)  "Unless

d)  "It is given him from Heaven."

(This QT makes me realise that It All Comes From Heaven)

PRAY: To understand and receive Heavenly Blessings.

-----------------------------

'Come In By The Door Please.'

John 10:1.

a)  "I assure you:

b)  "Anyone who does not enter the sheep pen

c)  "By the door,

d)  "But climbs in some other way

e)  "Is a thief and a robber."

(Through this Second one I call: "Come In By The Door Please)

PRAY: To come into your sheep pen well.

-----------------------------

Chris.

When the Lord Jesus says: "I assure you..." It means that there is no other meaning to what is being said. We should have full belief and total confidence in the Words that He speaks. The Words of Jesus Christ are always easy enough to understand and cannot be manipulated to fit into people's opinions.

Church And Individual Greetings!

 'Church And Individual Greetings'

1 Peter 5:13.

a) Your sister Church in Babylon,

b) Chosen by God,

c) And my son Mark

d) Send you Greetings.

(This QT teaches me the importance of Church And Individual Greetings)

PRAY: That our Churches greet others well, whoever the others may be.

----------------------------

'Greetings.'

1 Corinthians 13:5.

a)  Your sister Church in Babylon,

b)  Chosen by God,

c)  And my son Mark

d)  Send you Greetings.

(Through this Second one I am reminded of the Blessing of Greetings)

PRAY: To be a good giver of Greetings.

------------------------------

Chris.

Giving and receiving Greetings should be a part of every Church life. To genuinely Greet is something that every True Believer should be able to do. When the Church greets strangers well, the strangers will feel welcomed. That is how it should be.

Jesus Suffered Outside The Gate!

'Jesus Suffered Outside The Gate.'

Hebrews 13:12.

a)  So Jesus also suffered

b)  Outside the gate

c)  In order to sanctify the people

f)  Through His Own Blood.

(This QT reminds me that Jesus Suffered Outside The Gate.)

PRAY: To trust in the sanctifying work of the Blood of Jesus,

----------------------

'Run With Perseverance,'

Hebrews 12:1.

a)  Therefore, let's also,

b)  Seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,

c)  Lay aside every weight

d)  And the sin which so easily entangles us,

e)  And let's run with perseverance

f)  The race that is set before us.

(Through this Second one I want to Run With Perseverance)

PRAY: For Perseverance to run the race.

----------------------

Chris.

We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses! The True Believer is never alone! Even though we may go through experiences in which we feel alone, the fact is that we are not alone. We can draw Comfort from the Comforter through this Truth. We are not alone, the Lord has given us a race to run, let us continue to trust Him and run this race.

Avoid Religious Arguments!

 'Avoid Religious Arguments.'

John 3:26.

a)  An argument developed

b)  Between some of John's disciples and a certain Jew.

c)  Over the matter of ceremonial washing.

(This QT reminds me to Avoid Religious Arguments)

PRAY: Not to get into Religious Arguments)

-------------------

'Do Not Let Go Of The Commands Of God.'

Mark 7:8.

a)  You have let go

b)  Of the Commands of God

c)  And are holding on to

d)  Human traditions.

(Through this Second one I am reminded: Do not let go of the Commands of God)

PRAY: To treasure and keep the Commands of God.

--------------------

Chris.

We should, as True Believers, endeavor to keep the Commands of God, especially the personal Commands which He speaks into our lives. This is not legalism, it is Wisdom and Obedience. To be able to keep these Commands well, we need to let go of human traditions, especially ungodly ones. In whatever situation we fins our selves facing, hold on to the Commands of God.

The Messenger And The Message!

 'The Messenger And The Message.'

Hebrews 13:22.

a)  I appeal to you brothers and sisters,

b)  Bear with my Word of Exhortation,

c)  For I have written to you briefly.

(This QT explains to me the heart of the Book of Hebrews: The Messenger And The Message)

PRAY: For the Messenger and the Message in your Church.

--------------------

'Stand Firm In The Grace Of God.'

1 Peter 5:12.

a)  By Sylvanus,

b)  A faithful brother as I regard him,

c)  I have written briefly to you, (Hebrews 13:22. I appeal to you Brothers, bear with my Word of

d)  Exhorting and declaring that this is the True Grace of God.

e)  Stand firm in it.

(Through this Second one I Want To Stand Firm In The Grace Of God)

PRAY: To Stand Firm In The Grace Of God.

--------------------

Chris.

There is a great comfort in knowing Faithful Brothers in the Church. We are living in days when people in the World System are not so much interested in Faithfulness, they are more interested in competitiveness. This competitiveness should not be allowed to come into the Church and spoil it! May Faithfulness be fully restored to our Churches.

The Bodies Were Burnt Outside The Camp!

'The Bodies Were Burnt Outside The Camp!'

Hebrews 13:11.

a)  For the bodies of those animals

b)  Whose blood is brought into the Holy Places

c)  By the High Priest

d)  For sin,

e)  Are burned outside the camp.

(This QT reminds me that The Bodies Were Burned Outside The Camp)

PRAY: That our homes and Churches be kept pure in every way.

------------------

'Receive Jesus And Have Abundant Life.'

John 10:10.

a)  The thief comes only to:

1-Steal.

2-Kill.

3-Destroy.

b)  I came that they might have life,

c)  And have it abundantly.

(This Second one reminds me of the Gospel Truth: "Receive Jesus And Have Abundant Life)

PRAY: To receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour if you have not done so already.

-------------------

Chris.

We should always remember as True Believers and a part of the Body of Christ that killing another person is never ever the Will of God. Killing is Satan's work, he comes to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus Christ is a "Life Giver", He has come to give Eternal and Abundant Life. When capital punishment is withheld, this really gives an opportunity for Eternal Life to be received.

PRAY: For good and just leadership in Church and in Nation.

--------------

Chris.

Pray for the persecuted Believers in this World. This is a Message that has been coming to me often recently. We are so Blessed in UK to generally have little persecution to suffer, but there are many Nations where it is still  common! Even if there is not much else that we can do, we certainly can pray.

b)  Working in us what is pleasing in His Sight,

Hebrews 12:23.

PRAY: To have assurance of being a part of God's Community)
-------------
Chris.
The Book of Hebrews contains much information that gives us an understanding of the Jewish Community in Bible times. Most Believers understand that, historically, the Jews had a very special part in God's Plan. Today, things are quite different, whilst God still has a plan for the Jews, He also has a Plan for All Peoples. This is summarized today within the New Testament phrase: "God so loved the World!"

d)  "He cannot see God's Kingdom.

(Through this Second One I can understand the necessity of Jesus' Words: "Be Born Again.")

PRAY: To fully understand what it means to be Born Again.

------------

Chris.

John's Gospel is truly The Evangelists' Gospel! Continually through John's Gospel we fine the Gospel introduction and way to come to Christ! Of course, God may lead us in other ways, but John's Gospel is the clearest presentation of the Gospel. Not only would I encourage every "seeker", but also I encourage every Servant of the Lord, to read and apply John's Gospel for themselves. Gospel preaching is as important today as it was in the days of the New Testament.

PRAY: To always Have Peace In Jesus.

-----------

Chris.

In the Lord Jesus Christ we have Peace! There are some people who are searching for Peace and yet never finding it. This is a sad and unnecessary situation! If anyone turns to the Lord, they can find Peace! Please note that the Scripture promises Peace to those people who are in Christ. If we have no Peace, a part of the solution may be turning to the Lord Jesus and finding His Peace! Wherever and however we may travek in His Will we should be able to find Peace!

God Brought Again From The Dead Our Lord Jesus!

'God Brought Again From The Dead Our Lord Jesus.'

Hebrews 13:20.

a)  Now may the God of peace

b)  Who brought again fro the dead our Lord Jesus,

----------

'A Wonderful Return.'

1 Peter 2:25.

a)  For you were like sheep going astray,

b)  But now you have returned

c)  To the Shepherd and Overseer

d)  Of your souls.

(This Second one reveals to me A Wonderful Return)

PRAY: For many people to have a Wonderful Return.

----------

Chris.

'You were like sheep going astray'. These are words that could have been spoken over our lives before we really came to know the Lord. Truthfully, sheep that are going astray are in a pitiful state. It may take a lot of effort to rescue them. We should, indeed, be grateful to the Lord for all that He has done for us. He restores us and sets our feet on the correct paths.

c)  Romans 12:1. To offer your body as a living sacrifice to God.

d)  Romans 15:30. To pray,

f)  Ephesians 4:1. To live a life worthy of the Calling which we have received.

(This Second one encourages me to Be Urged)

PRAY: To be willing to Be Urged,

---------

Chris.

Hyper-religious fasting never achieves anything! Unless we are clearly directed by the Lord to fast, or have a regular fasting practice, we should avoid fasting without reason. Fasting is supposed to change us and not to push and persuade God in some way.

'Not Always Preaching Ministry.'

--------

Chris.

What a failure!! The Disciples forsook Jesus and fled. This Second one makes me realise that we cannot trust in our own ability or faith to stand firm in the Lord during difficult times. We need the Lord's Power, Wisdom and Grace to be able to stand. The Gospels are really Discipleship training manuals for us as we read Jesus' interactions with His Disciples there.

-------

Chris.

This ministry of Apostle Paul in the Church at Philippi was not just a 'quick visit' ministry. Apostle Paul knew that he would remain with the Philippians and continue with them for their progress! Regardless of any environmental difficulties this Church was having, Apostle Paul committed himself to remaining with them.
